Hindash YYESSSS I'm 40 odd years young I need a good foundation I feel I have been searching for a good foundation for the last 5 years my skin changed when I turned 36 ish😒
Other makeup artists: Blabbering about their personal issues the whole video Hindash: literally explains each and every step and product in detail and somehow convinces you into buying that product!!
OMG I can’t stand that. I don’t want to sound rude but I have no interest in their personal lives. I like Hindash, Smitha Deepak, and Pixiwoo (aka Real Techniques). Pixiwoo doesn’t post on here anymore, at least that I’m aware of.
I hope she doesn't feel badly about the minor scarring on her skin. She is absolutely beautiful, and I genuinely mean it when I say that it does NOT detract from her beauty whatsoever. She's positively radiant!
If that is something that bothers you, consider filler, i never knew there was a cosmetic solution, until i saw david lim's video. When it is strategically placed with a good hand it can even the surface and make it less apparent.
Portia Venetia Thankyou so much❤️ once in a blue moon My skin looks good with makeup and that is the time I click loads of makeup pics and makeup vids 😅
I try to guide my daughter by telling her that makeup is there to enhance your natural beauty, not be a mask & I have shown her some of your videos as you are a great advertisement for enhancing natural beauty. 😍
Maya Sparks Brilliant question! Acne scars affects self esteem. I know some people who will not marry or hire someone with acne scars, because society considers it ugly. I bet you don't have them. Do you?
They also are hardly ever fully flat, so unlike discolouration or minor blemishes it's near impossible to really cover them. So no matter what you do, they are there and kind of "mocking" you.
honestly so many beauty gurus be like “ oh i have so much acne and scars all over my face” and legit its nothing or not even a pimple at all im like yah okay bye cant relate
but most can't afford it, hes sponsored by this company so he uses it in most of his looks... sad, this guy needs more diverse face and also diff looks like intricate Brazilian or indian makeup looks, he does pretty much the same style every time on almost near "perfect" faces
Thank you for representing 90 percent of women in the world who have scarred, textured skin. Please discuss makeup choices with a cheaper price tag. Hooded eyes I definitely need more instructions on how to handle. Keep up the great work.
Very helpful! And thank you for not blurring out her skin like many youtubers do. I love the fact that you don't sell false hopes and promises, but you clearly explain that acne scarred skin can never fully be smoothed out by makeup. Great job on the makeup and tutorial though. Your model looks absolutely stunning both before and after makeup!😍
Please more dark skin tones tutorials, i.e think MAC NW45 and deeper. How to manage hyperpigmentation and different skin tones while still looking natural. Love your work.
It’s so nice to see some make up that looks like it actually gets used. It’s a pet peeve when everything looks new and doesn’t come across as a genuine favourite.
Lisa eldridge and you both are my only real fave makeup artists on UA-cam that I take makeup inspo and tips from. I don't know the makeup just appears much more clean, professional and beautiful.
tabeer amrohi u can use what u what he just show us the technique and the prep of skin for example I learn that acne scars should be moisture cause foundation will look great and will last more
I dont think you need that foundation what hes saying is it's about his technique. Theres a lot of good coverage foundations for cheaper than this I took away he meant use a good coverage in light layers after working color corrector into the skin and to stipple all products so you dont disrupt base.
He recommends the Maybelline Matte Poreless in his favorite foundations video. Take all the tips and techniques & put them together. Is not his obligation to do X or Y because he already worked hard to achieve his level as a profesional makeup artist (his not a beauty influencer/guru) Him sharing is gift.
Great video you guys are so gorgeous the scars are really not visible imo. I find silicone based foundation helpful in elevating the texture, right concealer or primer, and mattifying it with setting powder(for less shine) makes the scarring actually look flawless even in harsh lighting and in real time. BTW, I love that your background is a bit gray, it definitely improves the image quality making the entire video look more realistic.
she looks so pretty! thank you for bringing more attention to scarred/textured skin it never gets enough attention in the community, and its always frustrating not knowing whether i do my routine right because i can't compare it to those with clear skin!
anettevanaga Literally! So far in all the videos I’ve seen, downturned eyes just get lumped in with hooded eyes, despite being two completely different shapes requiring different techniques :(
I’m so happy that you have a platform to broadcast your talent. You truly are a natural. What a genius. Your attention to detail and helpful tips are on point. You enhanced are beauty in the best way. With tactful and tasteful skill. Absolutely breathtaking.
Can't get over Timmy taking a nap at the beginning 😍. Glad you made this tutorial for people like me who have textured skin due to acne problems. It's a stunning look.
Do you do paint/draw? Cuz there's something with the way you handle brushes and the precision with details thats so amazing. I love watching all your videos you're the best 💫
I have watched a video you did on her before, I have acne scars and I loved how honest, open and truthful you were about all types of skin and textures and colors; the way you include her in your videos made follow you on Instagram. She is so beautiful, her eyebrows and eyelashes are envy full.
I'd love to see what you would do on hooded eyes. I'm tired of the usual smokey eye thing. No one really tries to come up with looks for that type of eye.
Wonderful transformation!!! Also, I would like to point out the fact that FINALLY, I found a UA-camr who doesn't use blonde/fair skin on his models. I like the fact that the models look a bit mediterranean because we get nice ideas about the colors that match our skin better :) thanks :)
I really enjoy your tutorials. The models you (and most beauty UA-camrs) use generally have a full lid (a "larger canvass," so to speak) on which to apply eye shadows. As someone with smaller eyes, I would love to see an eye make tutorial on making small eyes look larger. Thanks!
I noticed you used no primer or pore fillers, which are a must for my textured skin. Curious what you think about these types of products. I will even go on top of my makeup on deeper scars with some additional application of hourglass mineral veil or elf primer or Clarins blurring paste to get extra smoothing. Is this a no-no? 😏
maybe it's a preference or simply he skipped because of his technique. i've done makeup on textured skin and i have applied primer for a smoother finish. there's no set rules, do what feels and makes you look the way you want.
I have acne scars and texture on my 37 year old skin and after watching Hindash and following Katie Jane Hughes on Instagram, I've learned not to prime or set my skin. A good skin regimen removes all need for that and I've noticed the texture less visible on my skin. My acne scars still show through but Vitamin C oil has really helped to diminish my scars! I recommend the brand Maelove, they're fantastic!
I've got acne scarred combo sensitive skin and having no primer but really good skin care and moisturizer helps my foundation apply and last longer. Primer especially dimethicone filled one like photo finish by smashbox aren't good for acne.
Actually most of the makeup artists don't prefer primer or pore fillers on acne prone or sensitive skin. Because they tend to clog your pores for giving a smooth texture. And that leads to more breakouts and sebum collection inside skin. I've seen a difference in my skin quality and reduction in breakouts since I've stopped using pore filler cosmetics.
Such a gorgeous makeup!! would love to see an eye look in blue tones, aquamarine, minty blue.... I feel like they are so complimentary to brown eyes and its difficult to find classy tutorials on those hues.
I wait for the day when a makeup artist will choose a model that really has acne. Or scars. Or anything really visible. Because I'm not that lucky. And I know I m not the only girl in the world who fights sever acne. I really love your videos. But help those like me, who has redness and big scars. Thanks from Romania 🇷🇴 ❤️

As someone who has not only acne but acne scarring too, her foundation looked flawless. You did a wonderful job! These little tips will definitely help me perfect my makeup application to be better.
This colour palette is perfect for her skin tones. Would love if you did some videos on different skin tones all the way from super light to super dark.
Hi Hindash! I would totally appreciate it if you could do a makeup tutorial for someone who has small and thin lips. As of now, literally most of your tutorials are featuring models with plump and juicy lips. It's so unfair :(
