- This is a quick comparison video between the original mobile version of GTA SA released in 2013 and the definitive version released in 2023. Which one is better? The older but way cheaper one, or the newer one with better graphics but costs way higher? Let me know in the comments below.
*Device Requirements*
Android: Android 11.0 or above, requires a high-performance CPU (such as Snapdragon 855 or above) and GPU (such as Adreno 640 or above)
iOS: Device running iOS/ iPadOS 16 or above, the CPU must be A13 or above
My Device: iPhone 13 Pro Max (2021)
Controller: Backbone One
Game: Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas (Original released in 2004, PS2; Og mobile version released in 2013, iOS and Android)
Price: US6.99 (OG); US19.99 (Definitive); Free (With Netflix Subscription)
Here the requirements of those:
For the 2013 version (use AML mod instead with JPatch)
Android 7.0 and up
2GB RAM
2.81 of storage (APK, OBB, mod, extra files)
Any CPU variant
No payments required
Definitive Edition Mobile-
Android 11 and up (iOS 16 and up)
4-8GB RAM minimum
Snapdragon 8xx (A13 Bionic and up)
5GB for Android (3.9GB for iPhone/iPad)
Netflix account must be paid every month and activated
I'm not sure if Android requirements for Definitive Edition Mobile are all correct but I'm fully sure the iOS ones are all correct

Not even the original mobile version requirements are correct, it released in 2013, so it had compatibility with android 2.3, 4.0 or above, and it ran on 1gb devices (512mb if u count it was compatible with iphone 4s, which had 512mb RAM)
@@kazuhiramiller2121 I'm talking about the AML version (which is 2.10). 2.10 and above requires Android 7 and up. You need the 2GB RAM to run the game for at least 30 FPS. If you run the game of the RAM you're saying, it will lag and runs 10 FPS
The space for definitive edition is incorrect, there is an additional download on top of the 3GB for it, Idk how much for android but on ios it comes up to 9.11GB for gta sa.
I remember playing the original on my $63 android back in 2015 and being amazed by how it was able to run it
The Og 2013 version is amazing. It works on almost every device released 10 years ago. That really makes this game even more popular!

In any definitive version, there is still nothing that can beat the rain effect & fog in the original version
The Og version is not that bad considering it is a remasteed version of the original PS2 title.

Surprisingly, the original STILL looks better.
Because the models feel natural in the new version we have 2023 Lighting,Texture but models of 2004 game
2013 version almost unplayable on IPhone just recently they’ve updated the game, but it’s still 30 fps… Definitive Edition the best at the moment.
The original version has a lot of game breaking bugs, including the car spawning glitch

Classic Light is Awesome
Amazingly Netflix has the best version of SA available in any store at the moment, including consoles.
one of the best features of the phone version is that it is easy to download and you can play it almost on every modern smartphone with the same experience.
i honestly think the original old graphics phone port are way better than the affected definitive made of people as puppets. in general

Can't believe a phone game looks better than the PC port.
I think the PC definitive version should be better. HOwever today's smartphone are powerful enough to run game that at least has PS2/PS3 graphics quality.
Turn off classical lighting and it will look exactly like PC

@luhchromie5403 even with an update the definitive edition wont be able to run at 120fps. It will be 60fps max and only on the most powerful phones.

it might be because 1. the Android version of Redmi is not supported 2. the CPU is not enough to run this game, the minimum CPU requirement is Snapdragon 855, and system should be at least Android 11 @@berketurker_
@@brucelifechannel actually it comes with Android 11, but i upgraded it to Android 13, and also i tried to download it from another phone that has T606 chipset, it was buyable from Rockstar Games and downloadable

I notice that setting as well after uploading this video. Without the classic lighting, the game just looks modern and amazing.

Why people keep turning on the “classic lighting”? it makes the game look even worse, with those PS2 style and the new graphics like a terrible combination of retro and next gen graphics, I mean if you want to make it look like the PS2 version, then play it directly on your PS2, the game looks weird in my opinion, I can’t barely see something with that annoying filter plus makes the game in my phone run slow…also remember there were mods that could change the “timecycle.dat” of the original version that could add exactly the same admosphere, feels like I’m playing the same classic version with a mod sometimes…

There are 2 versions of the definitive edition. One is to pay 19.99 one-time for the full game. The other one is to subscribe to Netflix and play it for free while your Netflix is active.

I think they are the same. But OG one is a little laggy compare to the new one.

You need to maximize it manually every time you want to play.
I believe there is some bugs on setting which you need to reset it everytime

You can enter cheat in the OG version as well. I entered the cheat with a controller. From what I knew you can also enter the cheat with a virtual keyboard.
