I haven't heard other channels jumping on the we didn't want JL, what I have heard them saying is that the fans shouldn't be blamed for his appointment as we didn't campaign for him, I can't see any fault in that. We as fans don't get any say, there is only one voice in all of this that counts. Only real concern I have at the moment is this fixation of we have to always play with two defensive midfielders which to me always puts our midfield on the back foot.

Even if Lopetegui fixes this sham, at THIS JUNCTURE, it looks unbelievably poor in relation to professional football. Lopetegui appears NOT to know the SQUADS STRENGTH and. WEAKNESSES. So much of it is NOT ACCEPTABLE at Prem, Championship, L1, L2 or even below. Can Lopetegui and Tim fix it.

@@obsidiancurse429 Lopetegui has been in the running for several Prem jobs since doing pretty well with Wolves, so saying he got the job cos he's a friend of a crony is a bit daft. He's well respected in the game and seems like a good fit for us if he can get the team playing and winning some games. But it's a genuinely difficult job and many other coaches he's up against are settled and knows their best 11. It really is too early to say he's useless or not a good fit. Confidence is important and a couple of decent winds could have a very positive impact.

I think he only actually got linked to another job around the time we got linked with Amorim, funny that. Another coincidence? That other clubs fans also started a petition not to sign him btw, mr popular he ain’t. I hope he does well but he was clearly signed for the wrong reasons.
