- Teresa Weatherspoon is an American professional basketball coach and former player. She currently serves as the head coach of the Chicago Sky in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). Weatherspoon had a distinguished career as a player for the New York Liberty and Los Angeles Sparks in the WNBA, and she also coached the Louisiana Tech Lady Techsters. Recognized for her contributions to the sport, Weatherspoon was inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in 2010 and the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2019. Fans voted her as one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history in 2011, and she was selected for the WNBA Top 20@20 in 2016, honoring the league's best players in celebration of its twentieth anniversary.

It's probably because she was gone a lot. Look at how male athlete's marriages go. Same thing. It is just a tough thing to juggle. Has nothing to do with sexual orientation. (Unless you are saying they are all gay, too.)
That's the biggest problem with the WNBA. Too many lesbians! Candice Wiggins said best, "97% of the WNBA are lesbians. Maybe a player in the WNBA doesn't want to guard or play tough defense on another player because they want to have sex with them. How many WNBA players marry or are having sex another WNBA player??
