During the stream Doug retried 3 times and said it wasnt against the rules because he ended the stream after each death. However, here the vod shows us that it was all ONE stream! Diablo the Cheater strikes again!
He uses the best cheating cheets
In OBS, streaming and recording are two separate functions. The vod is probably an uploading of the local recording, and he did in fact end stream.
@@TM_0153lies made by big doug
@TM_0153
There is editors of this channels. He can put the 3 streams together.
@@Smileyrat And an interdimensional sex simulator powered by a fucking necromancer
Didn’t expect the vod to be over 10 minutes long wow
I mean tbf almost all of it was spent coding
I appreciate it
@@okami_6 That's a good point.
@@okami_6 That was my first thought when I checked the length 😂
Almost 10mins
Note to self, do NOT workout whilst watching a Dougdoug stream. Laughing whilst under load is very dangerous
Bold of you to assume more than 1% of his fan base excersizes
@@5thkiechannelwere all trapped in the basement we can't 😿
@@LaylaSheep I've been using dust and mold and made it into a ball to try and exercise
I didn't realize until the challenge started how snowbally the effect was. Each new thing to say becomes less and less obvious. It's like Infinite craft, except you can't craft things you did before.
All infractions:
1:29:30 "beer" (1 gifted sub)
1:31:11 "Kurt Rayloff" (2 gifted subs)
1:32:14 "Kurt Rayloff" (3 gifted subs)
1:35:20 "that's a good point" (Death)
1:50:23 "thank you" (1 gifted sub)
1:53:03 "thank you" (2 gifted subs)
1:54:53 "Kurt Rayloff" (3 gifted subs)
1:56:06 "all right all right" (Death)
2:10:40 "Kurt Rayloff" (5 gifted subs)
2:12:32 "I appreciate it" (Death)
Total damage: 17 Gifted subs and 3 deaths
Kurt Rayloff
+ Kurt Rayloff x4
that's a good point, Kurt rayloff
That's a very good point, Twitch Jack
you'd think with this challenge the most repeated sentence would be some common phrase and not Kurt Rayloff
Amazing that we had our very own VOD only section of the stream for a bit
How is that possible?
@@thongnguyen6601 the vod was still recording when his internet was down. Those segments were never streamed, but they're here
All right, all right, that's a good point, Kurt Rayloff, I appreciate it.
Every coding stream, Doug asks ChatGPT how to split a string into words (or sentences today).
True. And he also did it in the worst way by using regex on punctuation. He could have done it in 1 line and be more accurate with
from nltk import sent_tokenize
sentences = sent_tokenize(mic_result)
@@bobbobert9379 Eh, split on punctuation is fine considering it doesn't require additional dependencies and it's easy to understand the result (which is what you want here).
Also doesn't change the fact that the end result was hilarious; with Azure speech-to-text lowkey sabotaging Doug by being very generous with the punctuation. :D
@@bobbobert9379Not trying to hate on you, but that's how small projects become huge in size and dependancy complexity by using libraries for even small functions. Programmers shouldn't reinvent the wheel, but they also don't need to bring in a whole new car dor every wheel they include!
Gameplay starts at 1:25:06
So he doesn't even make it an hour?
@@Latedozer no, he tried 3 times
thanks
I would add an adjective into every sentence in alphabetical order so I would get more unique sentences and cut down the chances of repeating the same words.
ive been waiting for this specific vod for like a week, im so happy its here!!!!!!!!!
I left when he ended stream the first time did not know he did more rounds
This was a hilarious stream Kurt Rayloff. Lol
This stream vod lacked some trains
The tension as the red bar approached the end
I think to prevent Doug from cheating, if he ever does a similar stream in the future, instead of "stream will end" it needs to be "my Twitch channel will be deleted"
IF I REPEAT A SENTENCE PH WILL OPEN UP INSTANTLY AND PLAY TRENDING GETTING MY CHANNEL BANNED
No, instead of removing time it should actually add stream time. Streams ending is boring and channels ending is heart-rending. By adding stream time you appease the viewers and punish Doug if the stream ends up too long
@@maximusharbour3463 now that is an interesting idea
This might be my favorite vod
that's a good point
21:00 It's tough to get the balance between “hands-on” and “does something amazing” right. *Scratch* is definitely worth looking into if you want to show off coding principles to younger learners. It's a visual programming environment created at the MIT.
I was also thinking of Scratch!
Gameplay starts at 1:23:00 👈😭 that shit was not a 5 Minute Coding adventure
This was my favorite stream ever, and I've seen pajama Sam
The Parker hot tub stream was good too.
favorite "set of streams" you mean Kurt Rayloff?
That's a good point
Kurt Rayloff had me dying 🤣
Edit: Julius Caesar
That Kurt Rayloff guy sounds pretty famous

I appreciate it.

This was a very fun stream Kurt Raylof.
I KNEW IT I KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE I APPRECIATE IT LOLOL. Im dying.
What?
@@mattymerr701the sentence that did him in third time round
Doug definitely needs to do this again with a bunch of different games.
1:22:17 I love chat’s response everybody’s like “HUH?”
Let’s goo, another Doug Doug video
I cant believe i waited an hour and a half just to learn dougdoug doesnt know how sentence structure or vocal inflections work
lol, i just watched the vods on twitch. i was laughing so hard XD
I appreciate this stream.
31:25 been thinking this for a bit, I'd say discard a sentence if it contains less than 2 spaces- i.e. a sentence must be three or more words long. That'd kill much of the fun and terror of it, but chat would then have to get creative with (getting you to / stopping you from) say(ing) simple three-word phrases. Like "here we go" could be something! Or maybe the speech-to-text interprets a part of thanking of gift subs or whatever as a standalone sentence, and dougdoug now has to be very clear with gift sub thanks or else it'll pick up that samey part as a standalone sentence again
With my adhd i would fail this in 1 minute
i expected to see trains
All right all right, that's a good point, i appreciate it.
Kurt Rayloff.
This is an all time great stream imo
he felt a thrill inside jack
Like this is the most unhinged I've seen Doug Doug.
the text-to-speech understand it as "I felt a thrill inside jack" at 1:48:03 took me OUT
All right all right. That's a good point (stream). Thank you. Kurt Rayloff (Doug)
"5 minute coding adventure" it was an hour and 22 minutes lmao
Now we need a stream where you can't say sentences consisting of more than X number of words 😂 caveman talk stream!
Oh nice! Now that’ll be good. I can picture it now.
That's a good point
I’m confused why he thinks saying a name is somehow part of the same sentence. Otherworldly grammar knowledge at play. Jameston.
What is the song name at ~7:40, i saw a game trailer kinda sad with this music and i liked it and i am trying to find it again. Help is appreciated!!
Was trying to search for the song at 1:04:45, does anyone know? Could not find it
cutscene: heart and soul.
took me so long to find it ._.
it ends at 1:35:55, dont know why it keeps going after that
8:49 I usually am not that good at reading opaque slimmed down code like this, but I get it!
In Python, the string "" is falsey- if you have an if statement that goes "if("") then ..." it will NEVER execute the "then" portion.
So, the line sets the list "sentences" equal to the list-literal syntax [], and within that syntax is a for loop. For every item within the original "sentences" list, we return that item only if the item is truthy (i.e. it is not an empty string i.e. the "" example above). I can only assume that Python will properly collate the series of responses from the for loop into a proper list of one-sentence strings, with no gaps where the for loop did not return anything
A better (or at least clearer) way of putting it would be something like
temp_list= []
for item in sentences:
[tab] if item != ""
[two tabs] temp_list
okay so he pieced it together. It's not obvious!
is this the "Skyrim, but I'm a coward" VOD?
I love watching Doug try to cheat the system, meanwhile he only cheats himself
The letter of the law and the spirit of the law are two possible ways to regard rules, or laws. To obey the letter of the law is to follow the literal reading of the words of the law, whereas following the spirit of the law is to follow the intention of why the law was enforced. Intentionally following the letter of the law but not the spirit may be accomplished through exploiting technicalities, loopholes, and ambiguous language.
Dougdoug is following the letter of the law by starting a second stream. However,
Violating the perceived intention of the law has been found to affect people's judgments of culpability above and beyond violations of the letter of the law such that (1) a person can violate the letter of the law (but not the spirit) and not incur culpability, (2) a person can violate the spirit of the law and incur culpability, even without violating the letter of the law, and (3) the greatest culpability is assigned when both the letter and the spirit of the law are violated.
Therefore, dougdoug should be convicted
Your Skyrim videos are saving my life, im serious... they joy I find watching every bizarre adventure has gave me some endorfins oasis in the desert of depression I've been for months
2:08:40 underrated joke
What's the song at the beginning? The one that ends around 2 minutes in?
Does Doug not realize that "." = A pause in speach not the absence of an adjunction?
So what was the penalty for repeating the stream
Omg yes, well executed 😂
stream ends at 3:43:57
I appreciate it

xcx music in the stream, too? refreshing
What is that music at the start? It's so odd and quirky.

I think this challenge would be more enjoyable to you while still being enjoyable to us if you could only use auto-save in Skyrim and each time you repeated a sentence, your program would reload the most recent save file for you.
Who the fuck is Kurt Reyloff?
this strategy of doug's is not working at all. the voice to text fixes your grammar doug!!
As an English teacher, I am maddened by your inability to say proper sentences.
