Whooooo did this yesterday and got my store up to 1,3k until shutting down the ads for the day. Profit margins started at 30%, went down to 20% but all of a sudden they dropped to breakeven. Shut the ads down around 10pm.
Why do you set the budget back down to 100 even if you've scaled up and got so many sales?
Hey Anthony, a few questions. In your sheet you mentioned that:Cost per Add to cart below $10. In your ad manager it is 16 usd. And other question is: you duplicate the creative 5 times. Beforehand, did you test 5 different creatives or 5 the same before you started cbo? And how about ABO? Don't you prefer that as a beginner?

testing this week was a success, deployed the CBO this morning. will update with results!
update: the cbo was a success, but since i am starting out i didnt have enough money to feed the surf scaling all the way. will have to wait for some payouts before i can scale with the same numbers as in the video. but we did make a profit! will keep duplicating cbos and surf scaling them daily little by little! thanks for the advice anthony!

Took me a week to make a decent looking website & another week to run ads, spent a good 500 on ads which was almost all I had, got 600+ sessions, almost 20 add to carts with only 1 sale this week, tested three products & numerous ads, tried scaling everyday but my ad cost made me lose money every time due to low conversion, could really use some guidance not gonna lie, I’ve been spending every minute outside of work trying to make this work & I’m already a business owner in the financial industry so I’m aware nothing happens overnight, but dang only 1 sale after 500 in ads? Clearly I need to fix something, could be the product, website, etc, I just don’t know what it is yet

Great video Anthony. Quick question - You mentioned at the end of the video to duplicate your CBO campaign 5-10 times in order to reach 5/10k daily profit. Great video but what about if the campaign does not perform, and do you do anything with the ads groups that are not performing?
If its not performing well, you can just turn off the campaign

Realistically how much are you spending on ads. I see that you have $100 for 5 videos @ $20 a video, but once you see a video that hits. To meet your market demand how much are you spending? If it just speed up the process spending more, what does the profit margin look like on the $20 ad scale
If i make profits, i spend more money. I'll spend a few $K daily on ads when profits are there.

Because everytime you duplicate the new ad (even tho it's the same) is shown to different pocket of people, and you want to reach as many profitable pockets as you can!

Depends on CPM’s. 1%+ is usually a solid benchmark. 1.50%+ even better. 2%+ entering god tier.
So why copy the ad group 5 times? Is the audience staying the same and the ad? Why do it 5 times?
tiktok will automatically find 5 different audiences then you can scale the one that does best. people call them pockets. if you just had one ad set, what audience would you be testing? you wouldn't.

Did this yesterday, worked super good, scaled to $3k a day with 1 CBO! Now my question, when I try to reduce the budgets at midnight from 2K a day to $100, tiktok wont let me. It just lets me set it to a limit of like $700. How do you work around this? Or do you just kill the campaign and make new ones every day?

Make sure it's after midnight, you can't reduce the budget below what you have spent that day, but midnight is a new day, meaning you've spent $0. Congrats btw!

Yeah same thing happened to me a while ago
You can't make a decision based on 1 day... The ads needs to run a minimum of 5-7 days and then make the call. You can make the call sooner if you're spending like $200+ a day BUT because you will get lot's of data.

So everyday at midnight, budgets go back to $100. EVERYDAY. You repeat the daily scaling.

How and when should I increase the daily budget again?

Once you raise your budget to a certain level TT restricts how far you can lower the budget. You can't go from $1k daily to $100 without turning off the campaign. You can only drop it too like $800.@@dotcommarko
