It's always been evil. But now there are more lost people than ever. These are the last days. Few will be caught up. Millions will be saved in the tribulation by not taking the mark and worshipping the beast.

I so enjoy listening to Mar Mari because I experience the living God through Jesus Christ. But…… the background music is distracting and is not necessary! I don’t know why this is a trend in this century. I don’t want any distractions when the true word of God is being taught. Somehow, this is gotten into the minds of people that we have to have some kind of entertainment. Please, please let’s stop this! It’s like in the secret friendly churches where there’s a stage and dramatic artwork and extremely gifted musicians and the lights are dimmed like in a theater and rarely do you experience God‘s presence. It is so sad. Please stop doing background music when he is teaching! Please!

True, this world has so much evil. Nevertheless, the presence of God fearing, Christ believing people, is still making things work for Christians. The problem lies not with the presence of Christians but with the overwhelming majority of wicked non believers who reject the perfect teachings of our Lord Jesus. Not even a third of the world's population have faith alone in Christ alone. That pastor who said those words is a true weakling, devoid of good conscience, and there have always been so called shepherds who cannot stand the sway of evil and will walk away hastily rather than fight evil. He will give an account one day. It remains: the Lord Jesus Christ is still changing lives to this day.
There is a battle between good and evil taking place. Right now evil is winning, but thar will change.
The pastor may have had other reasons. It sounds like he lost hope. As we all have done in some ways, sometimes.
If you have the pastors contact info, you could try to encourage him with the parable of the sower.
Sometimes we are not meant to harvest what we sow. And sometimes we are meant to harvest what someone else sowed. It is not for us to decide, though.
