Hi Dave, I am finally going to learn the secrets "controls" that YT Teachers never bother to explain so I can complete a project and have it look great, or at least good! What secret? That CONTROL ZOOM, that links the outline path! I could never get a full path without using Magic Tool that I was constantly fighting with. Don't worry. I found in another of your videos how to load that plugin. You're an absolute guru. Loving the videos and loving learning so much. I've just come to gimp after using paint shop pro 7 for around 20 years and not really doing anything much with it.

I just came to GIMP today and I must say its fully an alternative to photoshop like inkscape is an alternative to illustrator, good to have these budget programs :)

Sir i have downloaded the plugin and when I selected some portion of my image and when I went to heal selection it was showing me select a portion to heal. Please help me🙏🙏
This concept is a bit silly - If you didn't have an amicable break up then fine you may want to forget them. However the same photo with them erased is kind of ridiculous. If you took this video seriously then maybe Gimp skills are the least of your troubles.

That's awesome - I've heard faint whispers of such a project coming to fruition but wasn't sure if it had or how accessible it was.

Go to Select -> None or press "ctrl + shift + a" to do the same (if that's what you meant)

It's grouped with the clone tool - use the H key or click and hold the clone tool in the toolbox to reveal all the tools in that group.

For the "hand" you could have selected and copied "hand" from original layer and pasted it on edited layer.

What version of GIMP on what operating system are you using? I have not run into any issues with Resynthesizer on the latest versions.
i have a simpler solution to erase your Ex... Delete the complete set of pics you have with them...
