Ok, so boys and girls thank you for tuning in. The ads in the video are placed by UA-cam, not me.
Let`s get to the game. I really enjoyed the game, unfortunately I left the "bob camera on" for 3-4 hours into the playthrough so is a bit wobbly, because it mimics the real camera more. But after I turned it off and is a bit better. Like more smooth. Anyway, the music is great, unfortunately had to toggle on streamer mode, because copyright..I didn`t really know how to play the game especially in the beginning but after a couple hours lets say, I got a hang of it. I played the game for 18 hours, and the video is almost 8 hours, so the remaining 10 hours was, harvesting for resources, figuring out what to do, and so on, to not waste your time, and tried to give you the best experience. Some tips for the game, from my playthrough.
1. LOOT
So try to take your time. Don`t rush, try as much as possible to loot as much as you can. The big cars, dumpsters and fridges have good loot. As well the big rectangle white buildings from ARDA. Inside you will find chemicals, which are very important and quite hard to get and you will use quite a lot, because you can craft repair putty, that you can repair your car with. The plasma is important as well, is not easy to get either, if you find the blue generators that are close to antenas and some ARDA buildings, try to destroy all of them and get the plasma, you will need to progress into the game. You can get plasma from some round creatures that will jump on your car, get your scrapper and destroy them, there is a chance to harvest some plasma. Loot everything. Sooner or later you will need it.
A very important item to loot is thermosap crystal, some red crystals that you find by destroying with the scraper, doors from police cars, that are armored doors, that will drop 1 crystal, maybe 2 I think if you are very lucky. The crystals drop as well in the mid range zone, there you can find some red totems on the ground, that if you use your hammer to destroy them, they can drop between 7-8 crystals. Unfortunately in my playthrough I only find them in the end of the game when I was going for the last map. So I had to destroy a tone of cars to just get the thermosap crystals. Why they are important?? Because you need them to craft a shield to progress. So if you find red crystals, destroy them and take them.
2. UPGRADES
Here you don`t need everything to finish the game. I went for lead plated doors, bumpers, pannels, to shield me from radiations. I didn`t focus on armored because I didn`t crash to much, and others I don`t see too useful, so I think lead ones are the best. You can get lead pretty easily, from time to time you will find some small antenas structures, that have lead shields on them, destroy them with the scraper and loot the lead.
The locker upgrade is great, because gives you more space, you will need it. Especially try to upgrade the car inventory. The xl inventory upgrade for car is great. A ton of space to put your loot. Upgrade as much as possible the space from your inventory and from car inventory. Take your time to read the upgrades. Most of them are useful, not all. Some are useless but some are great to take first. Try to upgrade your suit too. It will protect your against radiations.
3. CAR
So as I said lead plated doors, panels, bumpers are great, pretty easy to make and good health. Go for that. The wheel are important. Off-road wheel from my pov are the best. Because a lot of time you will go through rough terrain. All type terrain wheels seems ok but way to expensive to make. So don`t bother really to go for them, off road are great choice. Upgrade the inventory of the car. Get some side racks, there you can add more petrol, more space, or even a device to avoid short circuits. Inside the car get some backseat racks. There you can get an autoparker, very convinient to not stay everytime to use your handbrake. You can even get a jumper, to give you a small jump boost as a car ability. On top of the car you can get a loot antena, basically it will show your where the loot is. Very nice as well. Repair putty, sealing kits, jumping cables are great to have in your car. So keep some there to repair your car
4. Anomalies
Most of them you can dodge. The blue barriers will give you a boost into the air. The electric ones of course will damage the car and will might short circuit some parts of the car. Geysers will push your car into the air. The ones that fly will most of the time grab your car, and they will move your car or they will keep your car in the same place, the mannequins will explode, the yellow orbs will give you a boost to your car. There are a lot of things that can damage your car lets say, but most of them are self explenenetory,
5. Energy Orbs
There are 3 types, stable. unstable and corrupt. Most useful to be frank I think is stable. Because A lot of important upgrades use that stable energy. So try to get more of that. If you cannot find orbs on the map, there is an items that you can craft, that will show you where the orbs are, especially if the map from your car will not show them. Sometimes the orbs on the map will move, and you don`t know where to go, that item is great. So you don`t have to wander around in search for the orb.
I guess this are some tips that I think I wanted to know before I started playing. I hope it will help you. Thank you for your time.

You should go through all of the logbook to show us all of the descriptions and audio logs.

I grew up around thirty miles or so from where this game takes place. It’s so surreal for me seeing spot on scenery and roads I spent my childhood traversing with my family. This game is amazing
This is perhaps the single most captivating playthrough of a game that i have watched in months! While it is a new game in the vastness of the gaming universe, the way you run through it, taking your time, exploring options, following along with the story as you progress... i don't know... it's mezmerizing. Kudos!
Thank you, I played the game for 18 hours I think, at some part I stated to cut some of the part of the game because I had to search for resources, and I thought it will be a bit boring and repetive and I only let the story and so on. But it was a nice game.

You are not too bright when it comes to repairing the car at the starting stages of the game. Very hyperactive, moving without a plan. It was like watching Radbrad without voiceover.

God i wish end of the road had a bigger road so i could listen to punch it longer it fits so well
i hate to tell you, but try not to use the application audio capture for OBS, it took me weeks to realize that's what was causing my audio chopping periodically in long recordings. (your alt tab and showing your other windows, told me you may be using this given there was no audio from the background video)

the save file bugged and im stuck at anomaly barricade mission. i dont have the energy for another 30+ hours playtime so here am i
just go back to base and start from there, the barricade should be fine after wards. The same happened to me too. I went there without a shield, and I coundn`t open the barricades, and I just died and went back after I got everything
Kind of bought into this... fell asleep to this... repetitive noises made me fall asleep. Woke up to game dialogue. Watched for 45 minutes in the late game. Realized the game loop is boring AF.

@@TheBaldMan it wasn't that, as i since discovered, it's a known bug, i got back to base, did a different journey and then restarted the journey from scratch and it worked as it should.

@@pubgpro2725 Thats my opinion. Putting aside some setting exposure there was no story. You got in , run some errands, offscreen characters discussing things which nobody bothers to describe or explain to you. In there very end they tell you that there is more stories to tell, lol.

Watched it to the end and...thats it? Really? I'm not impressed. This game is beautiful (especially Deep zone, so alien) but so damn repetitive. World building is impressive on first glance, so much of story to tell, but lore is paper thin it seems. And whole story...leading to big pile of nothing? I understand value of cliffhanger, but this was insulting.
Stalker type worlds allow people to write infinite amount of story and creators of this game clearly hope to create whole new "Universe", but i doubt it now.
I was hoping for more driving along the pacific coast, not crafting like every other open world game. Kind of disappointed but I guess I just had the wrong impression.
