I wish I’d have watched this before I did mine. They’re far from perfect but I love the feeling of it. My nails are paper thin. Keep us all updated with more tutorials. I love them. X
Thanks Tracy! Hopefully a few good tips in there for next time ❤️☺️ x
Really loved your video, very clear explanations and you make it look so easy! I’m thinking about getting some of the Mylee polygel (which is why I watched this video) but please can you tell me, can I paint gel polish over the top of the polygel? I’d like to use it to extend my nails but would also like to be able to paint them too. Thanks ❤️
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it 🥰 you can, once you’ve done the filing at the end, instead of applying top coat you can apply gel polish, do any nail art etc then topcoat as usual 💕
Really loved the video and will be watching more. I am just waiting for my products to arrive an then I will be having a go.
Thank you for the video, I will be having a go at acrylics as I love nail art. 💜😘 xxxx
I never rough up my nail plate and everything sticks to my nails wonderfully.
Great video..hoping to try for the first time tomorrow. Looks like it will be an all day process! Over half an hour for 1 nail!
Hi Jeanette, I purposefully worked slowly and talked in great detail as I wanted to make the tutorials as in depth as possible. I’ve watched tutorials in the past that I’ve felt didn’t answer all the questions I had, so I wanted to do my best to cover everything. It certainly doesn’t take me half an hour to do one nail in real time, I would never have the time to do mine if that was the case ☺️
Hey! I’m wondering how easy you find it to do all the nails at once? Do the duel forms slip around too much when working on the next finger? Thanks!
I always do one nail at a time, especially doing my own as it’s so easy to knock one nail while working on another ❤️👍🏼 x
Oh that’s good to know, I’ll do the same! Thank you, honestly it’s so so helpful! 🤎
This is really handy! how long does it typically take you to do the full set? ☺️
Thank you! A full set usually takes me about 1.5 - 2 hours from prep to finish
So I have been wanting to do the clear tip trend I have been seeing (like the anne Hathaway "alien" french), I was wondering, can you put a base and a colour on the natural nail and then add a clear polygel over the top? Thanks!
Loved the tutorial👍... I have been thinking for a while whether to purchase the Mylee Polygel but a little hesitant as I was unsure how to use it. I will now purchase some and get the Dual Forms as well to help me with the process. Just a couple of questions, was that just some kitchen roll paper, cut to a small size, that you used when using the ‘Prep and Polish’?. Also, will you be doing a tutorial for doing infills using the Mylee Polygel?… many thanks Sue x
Thanks Sue! It was - I had run out of lint free wipes so I’ll often use kitchen roll, and cut it up to save wastage ❤️ I’ve also done an infills video and posted it on the channel ☺️
@@glitterfingers2012 Hiya, thank you for that tip!… I’ll definitely watch your infill video. Now that we are going to be getting back to some sort of normality, you has inspired me to order some Polygel and have a go!… Many thanks and love your channel❤️... x
Love your videos, which way do you prefer to do polygel out of the 3 different ways? X
Hi Jo! Thank you so much! Ohhhh that’s a tough question!! I think for me it’s probably paper forms or over tips - I first started doing my nails with tips so that just feels really familiar to me, but the more I’ve used paper forms the more I’ve enjoyed them and the results 🥰
That looks great . I just subbed . I
Thank you so much Denise! I’ll have to check if I’m subbed to you on this account too! 🥰
Great result! The only thing I wonder though is that you did this in real time. Even if you deleted 15 mins of explanation time and the little extras of then that one nail still took approximately 30 mins to create (Not including the curing).
Doing the maths that would mean 5 and a half hours to do all 10 😲
Hi Joanna, I purposefully worked slowly and talked things through in detail for the purpose of the tutorial, it definitely doesn’t take me five and a half hours to do a full set ☺️
Great tutorial! Looking forward to doing mine 😊 how long do they typically last ? X
Thank you just subscribed 👍🏻🤗
I have a question. Do you personally use this product a lot or is this just for promotional purposes? How long does it last for you?
I have done mine using these products for the first time today, a few hours later, one popped off when I was getting my dinner plate out of the cupboard. I have a few ideas where I might have gone wrong from watching your video, will keep at it x
Hi Heidi, I personally use this product. Although I am a brand ambassador and so produce content using these products, the reason I applied to work with the brand is because they are products I use and love. I have used the polygel over tips on my most recent set and have so far infilled them twice and they are holding up well. If one nail has popped of as a whole, it sounds like there has maybe been something not quite right with your prep. Hopefully as you say the tips you have picked up from the video will help prevent this in the future 🥰
@@glitterfingers2012 I’m not sure I could file any more without damaging my natural nail. I think I may be getting too close to the cuticle and getting some on my skin which is causing major lift once dried. More practise and I should get there. Don’t think I will be able to get as close as you do without touching straight away x
It definitely takes practice. It’s better to leave a small gap between the product and the cuticle than get it on the skin. You can always add a small amount of extra product once you’ve cured x
Can you update us on the longevity ? Also can I use the polygel without the base coat : I usually do my nails with Mylee but only gel polish and I'm looking for something stronger since my work is not very forgiving to my hands and I have this feeling that having only a thin sticky layer of gel is not going to be enough to hold a fake nail from popping. If you could do a video on that or just a simple reply I would really appreciate it. Great job on the video, very indepth and educational. 😊👍
Hi! Glad you enjoyed the video. You would need to use a base coat with polygel or it will come off quicker. Although base coat is a thin layer, it’s creating a surface for other products to adhere too. Longevity wise, as long as you look after them you can keep the polygel on and just keep doing infills until you decide you want to remove it ❤️
What dual forms did you use???
Mylee sell forms now as well! The ones I used in this video are from Amazon 🥰
How do you remove them?
Hi lovely, to remove the polygel you file down the bulk using a 100/180 file, the. Soak off with acetone 💕
Where did you get the forms from?
Mylee sell forms now as well! The ones I used in this video are from Amazon 🥰
Best tutorial I’ve found for these! My first attempt using the duel forms, love that you’ve explained in real time as I was able to do my nails along with you!💕
Aww thanks you this makes me so happy to hear!! 💕💕💕💕🥰
