Fields was an athlete who played QB. Caleb is a QB, who’s athletic! The tapes done lie. Go back and look at how many receivers were left open bc Fields failed to go thru his progression b4 he just took off and ran

One of the points I think you missed is the new rookie wage scale has allowed teams to be able to throw away quarterbacks quickly these days unlike in the past. The Sam Bradford, JaMarcus Russell and a bunch of others would of been traded or cut sooner if teams didn't feel obligated to keep them because of their contracts

The bar is set pretty low in Chicago if it’s ok to be the worst quarterback in the division and bottom 5 in the league in pretty much every category let alone injured every season of his professional career. At some point your allegiance to a player of a team has to be put to the side so the truth can be understood. Obviously the line and skill players were not bad this season if you look at all the clean pockets that never was stepped into but instead ran to the outside to pressures. Glad poles saw this and tried to unload JF as fast as possible.
As usual, Smitty is sabotaging his own show. He just keeps saying “we don’t know!” Okay. We don’t know. So does that mean we should just shut down the show and not talk anymore? 🤦♂️🤦♂️

Tank wrong. Poles has done a great job with Bears. Fields entering a contract year coming up and no one in the league wanted him that much. With Williams the Bears getting better quarterback cheaper leaving them more money to sign free agents.
