Don’t understand why you’d use a Tazer then shoot, surly he’d of been compliant without the shot. Cop says I’m gonna taze you and the other just shoots what was the point of the tazer then.
For thoes of you who have never been in any street altercation especially at night earlier mornings in the dark the distance between you and your attacker can come in at hyperspace and if let's say you do have some self-defense skills and even if you do you still have the chance of getting slashed or stabbed I can talk about this because I have had a knife pulled on me I was successful in disarming the person but I was lucky when I was younger and had a stronger skill set but I wouldn't recommend it getting in close combat a situations with a knife the shares gave the warning did not comply they didn't want to do this but they're going home that's their goal you should take a civilian course with the sheriff's if they offer it and put you in scenarios so you can see what it's like just sharing hope this helps you understand a little more but that scenario based class will really open your eyes good work Sheriff's
This is hands down one of the best Sheriffs Riverside county has had. He supports his deputies without question. Thank you Sherriff for being not only a sounding board but the support that is needed.
I’m really pleased that no officer was hurt by gunfire during this incident Thank you to all officers that were on the scene of this incident in Riverside County Where I have Resided since for many years.
Drop the knife 9 times and still he refused to do so, If you have to mention more than 3 times to drop the knife in order to get him to Comply, then his mind was made up. using less lethal did not work for him. Sad that he used these Deputies to help him end it…This was his call..SBC.
But like why did one tase him and the other shoot him at practically the same time? I’m sure the taser would’ve dropped him but he was shot at the same damn time the taser was deployed
How come y'all tazed him and shot him at the same time? He looked like a tweaker but as a police force, what's the point of tazing and shooting someone at the same time? Did y'all want to kill him or did you want to taze him and bring him into custody? I don't know why you tazed him and shot him when you could have done this non lethaly. He was a 60 year old man with a knife not an active shooter
So a knife is non-lethal? Tasers do not always work, easy to understand that. These sheriff’s were about to end up just like the Las Cruces officer who was killed a few months ago.
Absolutely shameful you all shot and tazed a 60 year old man. He might've lived if you just tazed him. Hes obviously a old tweaker and could have been taken down non-lethaly, even though he had a knife
Thank you for the video, stay safe out there.
We appreciate the transparency. As a resident of this county I feel much safer living here knowing your watching our back!
Me too, Back the blue no matter what they do until it happens to you
Thank you for protecting us
Those officers had such patience with that guy

I have to agree 💯
That's why people liek you are not in Law Enforcement. Your lack of comprehension speaks volumes ........
@@V8Deuce you want to read my statement properly
Im glad no one else was hurt. Dude knew the drill, what was his problem? Seems a bit old for meth.
No one else ? someone died...
@@Manu_Lemoine_FR Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit, is it?
Glad deputies didn’t let him stab them.

I can tell you’re a wannabe poser for law enforcement.
Thank you Sheriff Bianco and RSO. 🇺🇸

Just comply very simple

That knife was used for thieving
F$&k around and find out, plain and simple!

That doesn't look good for the officer shooting.
No it does not cause he was wrong for shooting to kill when the other is tazing without waiting

I do not feel safer with this type of policing in my community. Something that could've been non-lethal resulted in the death of a 60 year old man
