I see many others are jumping on this bandwagon with drone footage now that the stadium is taking shape. An Arsenal fan here but I'll be viewing your updates only. You were there from the start. Keep up your great work Sir.
Absolutely awesome !!! Fantastic progress is being made on a weekly basis! Thanks once again Nic for the update and you have captured some great shots of the structure! I hope one day you will get a site tour - you deserve it! Happy Birthday to your wife! COYB
Great video again. Thanks for the name check. Great to meet you you and the folks at the dock museum. Stadium looking great. Keep up the good work. I will be back home later in the year to see it up close. Hope the Mrs had a good birthday ..kev
Great video nick, watch out this week or next as they will start the construction of the temporary structure for enabling the roof works, south stand first, 6 massive columns, followed by north stand 4 columns. Keep up the good work. You should have taken your missus for Sunday lunch at the Bramley pub 😂
I went in that pub after the new stadium was first announced. We weren't made welcome, they were RS! They may change with money going through the tills.
Happy birthday to Mrs Drone uk 🙂 Cheers for the video as always, that west stand is awesome....I do wonder with it being called a mega concrete structure if it will be completely concrete or if there will.be steels at the next level North stand terracing is gonna whip up quickly as they've spread several extra wide And nice to see the south stand finishing off steels width wise and starting to connect it all Again thanks from me
I assume the stand will be steel structure for roof support ect I assume the steel will be placed around the concrete structure, I cant see the terracing been supported by the concrete structure the steel will be shaped around it , the concrete structure has to be massive as it's the main stand especially for corporate events, directors box hospitality ect , u will find the east will be smaller version but will still have same areas but smaller , anyone know how many executive boxes will be around the ground and were they will be as I can seem to work out were about they will be , a assume part of the east and west stands , but I thought surly have them right around the stadium middle section
@@colinmumford267 Good thinking, I think you are right. It could also have been due to the non-availability of larger section steel, rolling dates etc. It's possible too that fire regulations played a part. Anyway, reinforced concrete is much more flexible in terms of design constraints.
Crikey! It’s come on a lot. I was thinking that they’d built little boxes on what will be the pitch. Doh! Then I realised they must be supports for the pitch. The planning that’s gone into this stadium is immense. Have you seen there’s new plans for gardens to be built on the docks to the south of Bramley-Moore Dock? It’s got parks, a canal - it looks like - for canoeing, shops and housing around it. It should make the whole area running up to the new stadium very appealing if it’s maintained properly.
i dont know if anyone has mentioned or noticed that they started cutting or have cut out the walls were those black barriers are either side of the main entrance
I’d like to see a question and answer presentation style video. The one today at Anfield was decent. Also, viewers around the world may be interested in knowing that there are other planned and completed developments in the area including the Titanic Hotel, the Stanley Dock Warehouse, Central Park, Liverpool Waters and Ten Streets.
Imagine not filming because it's your wife's birthday 🤯😉 Reminds me of when my wife wouldn't drive me to Kenilworth Road to watch Norwich play Luton in a pre season friendly just because it was her birthday. 🤦♂️🤭
There is a guy sitting in the stands of a football stadium waiting for the match to get started. There’s an empty seat right next to him. Another man approaches him and asks if the seat is available. The man says yes. He tells him that it was his wife’s seat, but she’s not coming. The other man asks if there’s any other member of the family or a friend who could use the seat instead of her. The man replies: “No, they all went to her funeral”. 😂😂😂😂😂
Usual great work. Can I suggest a view of Goodison Park from Bramley Moore Dock and vice versa. I worked on the City of Manchester Stadium, now the Etihad in its early stages placing orders for the enabling works and the piling as well as procuring work through the EU because it was a Local Government funding the work. Some of the work was unique, like the sombrero roof. Very impressed in Laing O'Rourke's methodology and they've clearly developed techniques from their previous contracts. COYB💙💙💙
Nick, what is the purple-shrouded structure on the front right of the stadium by the wall? Any news on the reconstruction of the Dockers Clock? It's been speculated for years now. Cheers!
Hi Lisa, is it the old Pump House you are referring to that gas scaffolding all around it? I am going to take a closer look at that soon. Havnt heard anything about the dockers clock recently.
Amazing how quickly the steel work and concrete has gone up in the last few months. I wonder how much steel and concrete has come into Liverpool for the stadium and stand. Are the terracing and steel coming from the same place for both stadiums?
Thanks Dennis, it is amazing how quick it’s gone up. No I don’t believe the materials are coming from the same place. The steel at Anfield is coming from Scotland I think as the steel company are based there.
Great video as usual it’s really taking shape isn’t it - I have a question for you….which side of the stadium are the dressing rooms and dugouts going to be? I’m guessing the West Stand? Also where is the access road to the car park next to the west stand as the gap between north and south stands and the water one side and that factory on the north side doesn’t look very wide to take cars and people on a match day…
In the plans there is a drawing with a lorry in the North Concourse. There is also a vehicle access booth on the northern edge of the site near to the Hydraulic Tower which suggests that vehicles will access the site via the northern gate.
No. USM did pay to have first refusal on the naming rights for the stadium, but they lost that when sanctions were introduced. The Club are now calling It Everton Stadium in the Same way that Spurs call it the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. The stadium then becomes an advert that promotes the club.
Look gd when it’s built but I hope the smell off the waste water plant next door sorts it’s shit out are house is just on boundary st and it fucikin stinks some days
Hi mate, as you may know, I’ve been there now most weeks since last July and I hadn’t realised any smell for a long time. However, the last few weeks I’ve definitely smelt it more

Would it be possible to do a timelapse from a single point showing the weekly changes. It would be amazing at the end to see it changing over time

Happy birthday Mrs. Drone.💥🎂🍾
Thanks Peter 👍🏻
Another great vid. Did you notice the second cut in the wall.
Thanks Andy, yes I did notice it. Keep your eye out for tomorrows video 👍🏻

Ok mate, thanks 👍🏻
Watched so many of these, I feel like I know you now.

Was wondering what was the reason for steelwork below the terrace on the north and south stand are different? Would of thought they would be the same!
If you are talking about the colour. The shiny light grey steel is visible, the black steel will be hidden by concrete.
Great question & great answer too. Thanks guys 👍🏻
Happy birthday to your wife for her birthday tomorrow hope she had a boss day
Thanks Chris 👍🏻
Nick mate can you please always at some time let us know which way the pitch will be laid with the goals at each end .Ta
The pitch will run parallel to the river. So North to South. The South end being the big single tier home end.
North to South. one goal will be facing the City and one facing out the Mersey
Yes Steve no problem 👍🏻

Why is the north stand going to be smaller than all the other stands?
Hi Kevin, check out my video last week that covers this question 👍🏻
Can someone answer a quick question please.
When Everton move to Bramley Moore Dock will they close the shop opposite Stanley Park?
Almost Certainly.
I don’t know for certain but can imagine they will move it to Bramley Moore Dock too
A lot of progress this week.
Loads Chris, it’s like that every week now 👍🏻

It looks like a One-Way system whereby all but emergency vehicles enter via the North Gate and Concourse and exit Via the South Gate and Concourse.
Excellent question and thanks for the replies everyone 👍🏻🙏
have Everton decided on any names for the ground or stands?
