It's horrifying how much more worldly most Christians act today in comparison to what Horace depicts (from the 1800's) how a Christian should act. It strongly motivates me to weed out the time wasting and worthless distractions/entertainment. A wonderful inspiration to avoid watering yourself down with this world remembering Rev. 3:15&16 that God will "spue you from (His) mouth" if you are lukewarm.

As an observation, I don't know if this is by design or mistake, but chapters 12-15 and the biography have all been collapsed into one chapter which ended up being much longer than the other chapters. The chapter titles for chapters 13-15 have also been removed.
Thank you for your comment on this. We did remove the appendix of hymns, but we didn't intentionally eliminate any content. I just checked the original edition we have, and there are only 12 chapters of text. Do you know if there is another edition with more content? If so, we'd like to know and potentially remedy this.
@@AnekopressI checked a pdf that came from Chapel Library. The file had 15 chapters. So what is your chapter 12 is split into three additional chapters.
Thank you. I looked at the Chapel Library PDF, and Chapter 12 is only one paragraph long in their edition. Based on the original PDF on Archive.org, which is only 12 chapters, I do believe our edition is actually correct (at least, correct according to the original). However, we do need to add the TOC link for the author's biography in the video, and I'm glad you pointed that out.

Manifesting is New Age. Maybe that's why the devil has so much access to you.
"manifesting" is a New Age/occult idea, it seems you have knowingly or unknowingly been practicing some esoteric things. Christians don't talk like that. I recommend looking up people like Doreen Virtue and Melissa Dougherty on UA-cam, they really spell it out how esoteric ideas have been creeping into the church, as former newagers they're able to spot these things.

We do not "manifest" anything.
The bible says we are to earn money by working. After you have earned it honestly, you spend it wisely. If you do things God’s way, you will be blessed, and the devil won’t be able to touch you. If you believe in Jesus with all you heart, stop believing that new age stuff. Read or listen to the bible and find out what the Lord says about everything, and do what he says. You may never be wealthy, but you will be blessed.
