Smooth Steering Feel. The purpose of the steering stabilizer on your 2007-2017 JK Wrangler is to help absorb and mitigate some of the shock and vibrations that can be transferred through the steering linkage when driving over a large bump or obstacle. Over time, and if running large tires, the stock stabilizer can begin to leak, blow out entirely or is also susceptible to bending or snapping as it is exposed to trail obstacles. This steering stabilizer from Old Man Emu is intended to replace the OEM stabilizer with a beefier, thicker version that is more apt to survive the trails.
Heavy Duty Internals. This Old Man Emu steering stabilizer is a twin-tube design incorporating a larger piston and bore as compared to stock. An increased 0.6" piston rod and 9 stage coil spring valve combine to provide a heavy duty stabilizer that is strong and effective to survive tough trails and absorb the corresponding steering shock.
Easy Installation. The installation is quite easy and can be done by anyone who has a little mechanical experience. Using basic hand tools, this Old Man Emu Steering Stabilizer can be installed on your 2007-2017 JK Wrangler in about 30 minutes. However, being a larger and stronger version, this steering stabilizer does require an additional relocation bracket in order to fit in place.

The tone and speed these car guys use. Hilarious. Sounds funny.
You should review their heavy load lift kit.
Shaun Barrickman I have to 2 and a 1/2 inch heavy load old man emu kit And it's awesome
INFAMOUSBEASTREPTILES Me too, I put a heavy load Old Man Emu 2.5” lift with Old Man Emu Sport shocks on a YJ. Feels like a whole new Jeep. Looks great, Rides great.
Just curious- on OME instructions they install it with the rubber sleeve on the front passenger side and you have it in the other side. Does the orientation matter ?
Thanks
BUT if there is death wobble and a stock (worn) steering stabilizer, installing a new stabilizer will definitely combat the possibility of death wobble. If those experiencing death wobble need a solution to get back and forth to work, there are no regrets in purchasing the $35 stabilizer till additional funds are procured to replace parts that are worn contributing towards the death wobble. Who cares if a $35 stabilizer burns out in a couple months, the possibly short or long term stabilizer solution is much safer and stress free than driving around in fear trying to avoid bumps or staying under 50mph.
Death wobble? (regardless) Replace old stabilizer, check track bar play, check worn steering linkage. If a steering stabilizer is designed to reduce the impact of bumps then its reducing the cause of what primarily initiates death wobble. Death wobble starts with bump impact.
I bought this and I did not need a bracket for my Jeep Wrangler It's the altitude package and and has the front Rubicon axle So you need to be clear which model to need the bracket
INFAMOUSBEASTREPTILES I had a high steer in my Rubicon Express lift which also made that bracket not needed
Can you explain stabilizer vs dual stabilizer.
Geez, you think you have enough gasket maker on that front end... Sloppy job.
Why can’t Americans pronounce emu correctly?
