wow man...let me start from the beginning here...i liked the stick cliking part...that was amazing how you could keep it going like that cause its so many sticks going at once...and the funky part at 1:12...that was cool...at 2:03 were you trying to play something from the Big 8...cause if you did, its pretty good...the last part was amazing...and what you guys did with the stunts was cool...i love this
Wow where do I start, so many captivating moments in this video! From the pelvic thrusting during the rolls, bass drum push ups, and the absolutely insane cymbal crashes. I hope whoever that cymbal player is now is a high ranking official in ohio
Glad this video is still getting some love in the drum community! Our cymbal players are all legends, and have grown up to be top industry and political leaders 😅
@@Hunter-Drums I honestly think they just got bored during the snare roll 😂 If you can't tell from the performance they had a pretty short attention span...
holy shit! I play in the line now! bass 1 for the win! its cool to see all the cadences are still the same, even though some are missing. were down to 5 members this year, but next year we should get 8 more!

@@kmedia that is fantastic to hear! My next question is what was the inspiration behind the arhythmic hip thrusts in the bass section!? So cool

we play quite a bit of ohio's cadences, and there are 2 based off cadences from drumline, but most of them are originals.

Great to hear you are still playing many of the same cadences!
@@kmedia i play quads now, we’ve got like 9 members now so the line is poppin again
2:02 the crashes are closed (thinking emoji)

I played baritone that year. I remember saying “left, right, left, freeze” at this show. Great band to be a part of. Go lions
The last year with schnieder
awesome
You guys r so good, your bass drums should be splitting instead of playing in unison so much.
im in the line now, and basses still dont split much haha
