My mom has Alzheimer since 46 so now her mind is gone but this song makes her move and me cry...I realize a lot that a non verbal message is still her communicating her love and happiness

I still don't understand why this song isn't on the radio every day
They play it on one where I live that's how I heard it....
Cause it's a Black person singing something uplifting. The songs that call our Black women 'hoes' 'tricks' and Bitc@#$' and rant about killing their Black brothas get plenty of air play. I just turn the station when I hear that 'divisive' mess! Same reason you don't hardly hear Neo-Soul music (i.e India Arie, Jill Scott, Musiq Soulchild) on air as well. They sending out MUCH NEEDED positive messages to our communities.

My Love of 16 yrs died of Cancer about 2 yrs ago and it was the most painful experience of my life... We have the most Beautiful Kid Together and I see his Dad so much whenever I see him... I was very depressed and filled with pain but I stumbled across this song one day and I started crying but I realized he was right there with us especially when we smile. It's November 2020 and I STILL tear up when I see the grey hair woman and young lady tear up and hug. It comes across as being genuinely sincere and off script. I absolutely love the entire video and the diversity, but honestly but that right there just strikes the softest nerve in me.
