- So did the cowboy builders do it better? Or was it us, D&J Projects that did the job better? Let us know down below!
In this weeks video we basically finish up the tarmac and aco drain install job all the way in sunny Derby for a leisure centre and the local council. We also take you along with Stevie for a few grabs, and when we say grabs, we mean a drive in the HGV or lorry for you Americans lol. Dad also takes you to the races... The horse racing to be precise! There was actually no fences installed by us this week which I think is a first for a long long time.
Let us know what you think to this video in the comment section below guys!

We'll see you in the next one :)
Another quality weekly Wed special and well done to all of the winners you lucky ducks..................................or swans
Ever thought of getting a wood chipper to either create wood chips to sell or use to shred the wood into smaller pieces to carry more wood tonnage and thus save fuel costs and cut down the number of trips driving to the tip? (Great for green waste too) Nice to see Bernie and yourself enjoy your day out at the horses and your last horse reminded me of my trip to Mexico as I visited Chichen Itza. Would be amazing to choose Cancun for a holiday ;). PS you don't have a link to your Instagram below your videos.
Jordan’s a sneaky one on the videos isn’t he 😂 keeps quiet but if you watch him closely he’s a machine, drives anything, cracks on with any job. Definitely well experienced that lad.
Great job leads
Hi guys always remember when I lived in Leeds I seen written on the side of a builders van.
" You've had the Cowboys now try the Indians"
Patel & son builders.
Great as always always watch stevi think you should do a episode in the shop know you done pannels but concreting side and yard day would be a good view. Mine s a xl buddy
I’ve been watching your videos for the past 2 years since I had a stroke at the ripe young age of 47 and the TV was my only companion during some very dark days and you kept me going. On the road to recovery but sadly had to get rid of my bike and I know Stevie has mentioned about getting one at some point. I had a Kawasaki ZZR1400 30th Anniversary and miss it like you wouldn’t believe.
Thank you for helping me and keep up the great content fellas. 😉👊👍
Thank you for watching Sean!
🙏🙏
D&j projects are professional, curtious to customers and the whole team are great to watch. Loved the tree stump episode.
To many families work separate. The closeness of FAMILY is lost. Grand to see you can work with and alongside your Dad.
Good to see Mr & Mrs D&J Projects enjoy a day at the Races, these days outs together are precious, enjoy many more ahead x
As usual, an excellent job by D&J, having dabbled in laying some Tarmac on my own land for a path a few years ago - you don't get a chance to make any mistakes. Cowboy builders would have no hope of matching your expertise, very well done D&J !! John, Australia
Hi all, great video. I've used Linseed oil to protect my wooden garden furniture in the past. Hey Stevie that tree stump... reminded me of my sister in law who had a big tree stump and used it for a seat, no one was allowed to put it on the fire, she called him stumpy.
Look forward to sitting and watching these videos on a Sunday evening when i finally get to sit down and relax
Great video again, top class work - this has ended my Sunday nicely 👍👍
Great job guys. I enjoy this channel because it is nice to see good tradespeople showcase their talent.
You got it right Stevie, SWAD. It was a pleasure to meet you guys!!
Great content guys love watching all ya videos. Nice to see everyone pulling together to get the job done Teamwork 👍👍👍
Sunday special D&J fix, never missed one so far, I enjoying each and every video so much variety and I do love seeing all the changes that you make to gardens etc., Definitely Not Too Shabby
Amazing the difference between a badly done job, then what your crew accomplish, Night and Day, you show the right way it should be done in spades
Sunday's episode was awesome, good to see all the different types of work you're experienced in.
Started my own fencing business a few months ago. Since then I watched almost all of your videos :D You doing great, keep it up :)
Hiya. Been a while so I’m trying to catch up with missed videos. Loving binge watching. My hubby and I are retired. And never worked so hard! Today I’ve been ripping out our sons old fence and installing a new one. Following your guidance thanks Stevie!! Have a fab day. X

Been watching you guys for a while and love your videos! I'm not even in the trade of what you guys do - I'm a desk worked but really love your work and makes me want to get out and do these jobs at the weekend! Keep smashing it
Yay, best way to wake up. With D&J. Snap, Crackle. and Crunch
Great to see a father and son team, my son used to work for me when I had my building company until poor health made me have to throw in the towel. Great videos
Those Klix machines are so retro! Used to get the soup after swimming at the pool back in the 80s 😂
D&J,ALL DAY , EVERYDAY!!
Keep up the good work, to everyone at D&J👍👍
Used to do all that stuff my self. Makes me feel tired watching you guys. Remember those days 👍🍺
What a difference when it’s done right. Well done to you all
Drainage turned out amazing! I still can’t imagine why they never connected it into the drain system before. Glad it’s fixed now.
Great job fixing, those drains to no where. 👏👏👏
Not too shabby,Dave when I take the grandchildren to the races I have a pound on each horse that way they think I know what I’m doing when I give them a winning ticket every time 😂🤣👍I mite tell them when they get older 🙈
U took biggest gamble starting D&J & look at that result 🏅🏅🏅
Great video as always - love seeing you guys fixing others mistakes and showing how they did it wrong and how you guys did it right.

Have to say I’m liking the raw clips. it gives a new spin And mighty white. the amount of spoil you can haul away. impressive. and amazing finish the the grating. isn’t it odd how some one can put it in and not connect to the drains ? strange

Another successful job completed....on to the nxt...catch up soon....fantastic work!!!
It was lovely to see Dave and "Mrs D&J" have a well earned day off. It says a LOT about a trusted professional team when you can hand over and take a day without having to worry about the business while you're away. Little touches like adding the top soil is what sets you guys apart - I hope you get similar contracts locally 'cause that was great to watch. You're a firm who's Big enough to do any job, but still Small enough to really care about each individual client. I'm not a "betting man" either, but I'd be prepared to get my last pound that the only way is up when you've built a team like that AND you're lucky enough to have family fully on-board with the 'vision' too! You have to get Mighty White all branded up asap as it'll be a sight to see with all the D&J sign writing on it. Thank you for a GREAT vid lads. I'm just back from a wedding in Ireland and watching it was the FIRST thing I did lol!y
Watching from Fort Erie Canada 🇨🇦. The lady bug made me laugh. Love your work and the family banter. Keep up the great jobs. Nothing better than pride in your work. True craftsmanship.
Love watching your videos every Wednesday and Sunday!! We follow you on insta and Facebook too to get all the inside goss and ask questions aha! Love D&J so much x
You giddy upped and got that tarmac down. Hopefully the spillage is hard to firm over the weekend ready to be pulled out easily next week 🏇👍
Preventative maintenance inspection. and I seem to recall you saying it needs to be done every 6 weeks. Enjoying binge watching your videos.

Great to see a NOTTINGHAM company doing top class work for derby! Keep it up D&J PROJECTS !!
Always look forward to your videos when I sit down after a long days work always relaxes me. It does inspire me even if it’s small in my garden and it’s not too shabby. Wish I can click my fingers and things happen 😜
A other Sunday and its so hot that I am sitting watching you indoors, always look forward to your vlogs. X
Another great Sunday video guys! Lovely job at the leisure centre and always great to see places we’d never normally see, like the Tarmac plant. Still learning new things watching your vids 🙌 Have a great week everyone!
It great to see that you’d are so busy, and both you and your dad are in good spirits after the bullshit coming at you’s, love watching what you’d are working on, and am watching from Finland

Got to say guys everything you do, has to be said is top class
What a great bunch of lads that work at D&J. Keep up the good work many thanks.
Amazing job. Can’t believe that the previous people could do such shoddy work for the council. Really good work and going the extra mile for the council/local community.
Wow you guys are really busy this week, your filming is still great 👍
That was a great video of D&J projects this week yous lads and Dave smashed have doing a great job with the pathway.👍
Dave! Didn’t you see the horse with 3 legs? That’s the one you bet on🤣 comes first every time. It’s so fast you blink and miss it.

My Sunday fix of D&J is complete. Love your videos guys, you work so hard and always look like you’re enjoying what you do. Keep up the good work.
You guys did a great job at the council job . Dave you and your wife are like me no good at picking horses . Have a great week all .
PMI is Preventive Maintenance Inspection. In the old days I worked on mainframe computers and they had to be PM’d once a month.
Fantastic job on the tarmac very nice job grabs working overtime nice video all round .
Preventative maintenance inspection and every 6 weeks. Great content, keep up the fantastic work
love you 2...love the work ethic and drive...very jelious of how close you 2 are.. I know you will have times when you don't get on and want to knock hell out of each other but that is healthy and normal.
Pmi is like a full service and is done every 6weeks. Good job as always.
Like your driving commentary, Stevie! I remember that root too! In France on my hols and enjoying your vids from the tent!
Thanks for the Video's. I really enjoy watching. Thanks!
Another great vlog thanks for sharing and showing us the life of d&j
Nice to see you in Swad.. that’s a fair trek for you guys. Great vid and not often we don’t see a fence install on a Sunday
How happy you look Dave when your back at work having said that it does you good to get way now & again but yes mate not the best at picking winners but great at laying the black stuff, top Sunday watch as all ways guys.
The leisure centre looks great. Here in Canada, we call them 🐞 ladybugs, where as you call them ladybirds. Keep up the excellent work, as always!
I've been rushing around all day...finally got to sit down with a cuppa and watch you guys. Loved the video, always great work 👍 ❤️
Dave and Stevie are naturals in front of the camera. Ant or Asnee is a great acquisition to the firm and is a proper grafter. Jordan just keeps going and going too. Great stuff!!!
It's great to see how the tarmac job came out, certainly not too shabby 👌
bit of RnR with the misses is always nice. Another great week, need Ant in more videos lol.
It's looks like a fantastic finish. Just keep betting on yourself and the D&J team Dave. You seem to have the winning formula.
Great fencing and work ethics. Need that in Charlotte, North Carolina.
You have the same sort of luck with the horses as my Dad does Dave 😂😂 A really busy week at D&J but as always the team worked late and got the job done 👍👍
Another busy week. Glad you're able to help with the swans nesting site to make it safer. Having 2 grabs is handy. Take care and looking forward to Wednesdays videos
Every 6 week for a pmi stevie baby . Keep up the good work guys
