When I was a teenager, once I remember visiting a friend's house. What an unique guy that was. He used to take care of only injured animals in his garden. He was giving more food to the animals than himself. He had a peaceful nature beyond imagination. I remember visiting that place, it was so peaceful by the seaside. This song was our absolute favourite even though we were black metal fans. One day we got waaaay to drunk and stoned, we just decided to get lost in the streets around his hometown. And we did. When we got tired of walking we were sitting on a pavement, completely wasted. It was us, a dim street light and nothing else. I had my music player with me back then and we decided to listen to this song, on repeat. That repeat, felt like an eternity. An eternity just like he cycle of life and death. I remember just losing ourselves to the trance with our eyes closed. We had nothing to lose. Nothing to win either. Just wanted to breathe, knowing one day we'll be just another stardust in the vast cosmic arena. Still, at some point we were aware of our existence. And our existence had a meaning and a taste, even sometimes bitter. It's been 11 years and I can still remember that day clearly.
So unique from the rest of their albums, this album puts the listener into a trance which is hard to escape, also the artwork is very realistic!
