    Thanks so much for making these videos public. I’m on ATG as a client, but generally love learning about body performance, so have really enjoyed this learning process over the last few weeks.

    This is just unbelievably valuable content. It's helped me develop my own system for rebuilding my achilles (partially torn) and knee (LCL tear). Thank you so much Keegan!

    ATG and knees over toes guy have got my attention! Want to make a big impact?! Get this information to P.E. teachers around the globe!!! I have benefited myself from doing ATG movements and have started my journey and I want this for my students. Making ATG more accessible to P.E. teachers using their language could be a big break through in getting this information to the public. Your content is great, thank you!

    Thank you Keegan, if the value in your presentation was equal to views, this video would have reached 3-5M by now!! Christopher Maher and True Body Intelligence have been teaching this for 20+ years. His approach and understanding of the remodeling and rewiring is next level. You, Ben snd ATG is the closest thing I’ve found to the work we do in @truebodyintelligence

    Awesome to make those presentations accessible to the public 👌 this is definitely convincing me to sign up and do ATG for the next 3 months. Hoping it will help me with my running and niggling injuries 👍

    Great video Keegan! Thank you so much for sharing this information. To me this is pure gold! I think you put it across really well. I recently signed up to ATG (Beta) to remodel and reprogram my body after 20 years of pain from chronic sports injuries, after watching Ben Patrick videos for a couple of weeks. I'm already glad I made this decision. Have a great day. All the best. - Luke.

    My gosh… I expected to spend good money on learning what you’re sharing here. I hope I can comeback to this again and again so I can make it stick & make it second nature.
    I forgot to add: My penny drop moment is that there can be movements that inhibit range of motion because they make muscles more resistant to lengthening, whereas there’s strength movements that allows a muscle to release into better flexibility.
    My goal is to revolutionise the sport of ‘Tricking’ and to a lesser degree, improve the longevity of ‘Parkour’ athletes here in Sydney.

    Amazing video Keegan , really opened my eyes and I’m so glad I’ve found this stuff out at 18 and the beginning of my sports career so thank you so much for giving me a head start , your a real inspiration. I was wondering whether you would class cleans and snatches and long range exercises or do they full somewhere in the middle? If so what would you suggest to be a good short range exercise to warm up for a full body exercise like the 2 Olympic lifts? Thank you for all the information your putting out here and your contribution to my personal athletic development, can’t thank you enough

    11 - remoldelling long range.. Muscle is already stretched, and more tension is added to it.. so its like a resting end range position with added tension on it. should be taken slow first.
    20- rewiring is short range.. less tension.. can do more reps and higher reps = inc neural density
    25 - long range vs short range
    31- didnt really understand the neural vs anabolic part.. nvm anabolic is the long range

    So in the same sense of high rep Step Ups leading into low rep ATG Split Squats, you could do Kickbacks into Tricep Extensions? (Or spider curls>lying curls).

    • @KeeganCoach
      @KeeganCoach  3 роки тому +6

      Exactly. Works like a dream for tendon pain and new gains. (Extreme) long range = accelerated gains and we gain more connective tissue (bulletproofing reserve) with it!

  • @jewbee4100

    I don’t know if this is relevant but I used to grab a dumbbell and swing it around my body with either one hand or 2 hands, supinated, side ways, random positions behind my body front side up down and I would use my spine also.

  • @michaelgrubbs8997

    Could this be used in the same way as Accumulation vs. intensity phases then? Long range strength phases for ex. 1-3 weeks then short range phases? Or is integrating in the same workout a better approach? This is all fascinating and it’s making gymnastics type training make more sense. I’m loving these videos and the Instagram stuff !!!

    • @KeeganCoach
      @KeeganCoach  3 роки тому +13

      Switching emphasis of exercise selection between long and short range based on accumulation and intensification is a great use of this principle...
      BUT I definitely prefer more of a concurrent bodybuilding type approach.
      B Pak (Ben Bapulski) talks about lighting up the motor units before fatiguing them... that logic makes sense to me.
      Beyond that you want to bring heat and life (blood) to the area and prepare the connective tissues before going hard on extreme long range.
      This can be done by gradually progressing load in healthy tissues but some movements or damaged tissues aren't as well suited to load progression as the preparation.
      The best example of this is @kneesovertoesguy sequencing of sleds > step-ups > split squats > KOT Squats ... Short to long range progression.

    Hi keegan!
    Must ask, How do you write a program for a clientbased on your approach?
    Do you assess the client's flexibilty/movement patterns or just let him do the atg program as it works for everyone?
    P.s.
    Thanks for sharing the info !
    Would love to hear some more.. :)

    Be careful utilizing this for the first time during season. You may see an increase in injuries (personal experience) due to the great amount of stress that it places on the connective tissue. But during an off-season? This is awesome

    Is this with all muscles or is there any gray areas? Where you would put cable flyis? Or would you make it 2 part move where the strech is little heavyer and secent time focus in crossing part with higher rep and lighter weight to get huge pump? 🤔
