I was raised Catholic. In my desire to deepen my faith, I went to a Baptist church and have since come back to the Catholic Church. But when I was young, they did CCD. You got the basics so you could receive communion and also the sacrament of confirmation.
The religious education was extremely lacking and you just did it because you were Catholic. At 60 years old, investigating on my own I have learned so much. Children don’t learn to do things because you just say “I said so“. You need to know what you’re talking about and walk the walk.
I don’t know what it’s like now, my kids are in the 30s, but it was no different when they went to CCD. If you want people to come back to the church, you need to give them some information and teach them. This Nun is amazing!!

Sometimes I look at a little figure of Christ I have at home, I ask Him "what am I doing wrong that doesn't allow you to get closer to me?" and the feeling of blame pierces my heart because I know it's my fault, not His. It consumes me. I know He itches to fill me up with His love, but I'm a sinful, stone-hearted idiot that doesn't know how to let Him work on me. My sweet Jesus, forgive me. Let me know what can I do to be one with you.

Isn’t she the Bomb? What a blessing! Shame she was a Volleyball player, swimming is such a better sport! I guess playing volleyball has some merit! But, you leave the pool without sweat, and are fresh! She is my connection to Jesus! Thank you, Sister! After being rejected most of my life, she brings good news! The lifesaving Good News she brings to those of us who feel like drowning!

Jesus is the way, the Truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through Him. He is the Author and the Finisher of our salvation. Come to Him all who are weary and heavy laden and He will give you rest. He has done it all and declared : it is finished!

Great content, loved it! A videographer critique...take it or leave it. The lighting in the video is distracting in a bad way, so much so that I couldn't watch it. I just listened to the audio. Sr. Miriam is blue, and half her face is shadowed in a very unflattering way. While Father Craig is yellow-orange, and half his face is in darkness. White Balance is a good thing. The string of lights behind Father Craig is a random, distracting pull to the eye. Does he disco?

And Jesus and his future Net and harvest his Fish and that's aall are Our future story Pole. Naw iff till naw is finding tank of self thoughts and fishing, is matter of not Believe.
