I was a child at that time. We had a lot of music in this style, at least here in Europe and Germany. This song is catchy, and should have gotten more attention. Though the music does not sound as refined as other 80's songs, in Germany we also had a differnt style becoming popular, Neue Deutsche Welle, which mostly also used this more simple productions.
tbh, besides subways of your mind, the rest of the songs in the demo tape feel more like it's going in the "Anatolian Rock" genre than it is conventional 80s music

I’m so pulled by Subways Of Your Mind, Talking Hands, and this. I literally can’t pick a favorite. Subways Of Your Mind hits me in the feels for some reason and gives me nostalgic vibes of late 90s early 2000s teenage years (it gives me that vibe even though I wasn’t alive in the 90s), Talking Hands is a REALLY catchy 80s sounding pop/rock song, and this feels like some depressing love song. I seriously hope we get to see more music from the guys. I LOVE the music we’ve seen so far.
Oh then you must love the post punk new wave/romantic bands bands like Spandeau Ballet, Flock of Seagulls and the Smiths. Which were of this era and vibe, same as Fex. As a 90's kid we were dominated by trance and house music in europe but grunge and hip hop was kicking off in the west.
New hit for 2024 that took literal years to uncover! This one definitely gives me a massive Depeche Mode feel to it, but I digress! This song, much like the other two in the EP is quite an enjoyable listen!

However, they still have to promote it and then a lot of times it's down to luck as to if it gets recognition.

I wish the members of FEX would release all their lyrics so people don't have to put up with people like me suggesting changes. I'm unsure on a couple of other lines in this song but I am not going to suggest any changes since I simply don't know if I am right.
