I love how you don’t just do things because they are the popular way to do them. You know your skin and tailor your routine to you. It sounds like it’s so obvious but I feel like most people follow the trends just because .
So true. Just go through a bunch of products and when they start up the blower that’s the choice. A whole string of quarantine leaf blower themed videos.
I could not believe how smooth your skin looked when you applied the powder. I stay frustrated with my under eyes. Your makeup suggestions have always worked for me.... so I am going to place and order for this powder! I am really excited about this❤
I feel like the NARS concealer, and the col•lab concealer from Sally’s are super similar. Maybe do a dupe test like you did with tatcha silk canvas and elf poreless putty primers. Please please please!!!
I love your channel so much! But when you do these kind of “specific tips” videos can you please try to use more natural lighting so we can actually see the true texture of your skin, kinda like your natural light check ins?
As a 26 year old mother of 2, with plenty of under eye darkness and fine lines, I feel like I've been waiting for this video my entire life! Thank you Taylor
You create some of the best makeup content on UA-cam. You are so informative and helpful, but still so fun and creative. You have changed a lot about how I do my makeup and I just wanted to say thank you. Not only for the makeup tips, but also for bringing fun and entertainment to this crazy time. You’re the best ❤️
You are one of the only people who’s beauty recommendations have worked for me. I especially look forward to Foundation Friday because many of your recommendations have really worked for me: Koke, the Miss ..A foundation for example. I went ahead and ordered the Laura Mercier eye brightening powder to try for my under eyes which always look so dry. (I already had the Nars concealer that I’ve had from last year.Thank you Taylor. It’s nice to find someone who seems to have similar skin as mine and has great recommendations. 🙂
Yes!!! And under eye powders from Laura mercier are great!! They were made to solve those annoying issues that almost all of us want addressed. I work for a Laura Mercier counter and those powders are so popular! I don’t think they’ll ever be discontinued because they’re a staple for a lot people😘❣️FYI for those that don’t know, there’s a deeper tinted shade for the pressed and loose powders!
Me: Wow, my concealer creases look so bad, I wonder how to fix that. Taylor: Hold my coffee. Seriously so excited to try these tips, thank youuuuuu! ❤🙏
I bought the sponge, the concealer and the Hourglass powder because my undereyes always looks terrible. I received the powder a couple of days a go and let me tell you the powder is incredible. My undereyes never looked so good!!!! This is the only powder that also blur my pores. And believe me i tried a lot! Best purchase ever!! Still waiting for the sponge and concealer to arrive. Can't wait! THANK YOU SO MUCH TAYLOR FOR THE TIPS!! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you sooooo much for this video! I'm becoming a woman "of a certain age" as they say :-), with dark circles plus prominent blue veins. For the first time, I'm having to color correct now underneath. So I've been trying to strike a similar balance in layering and setting products. Good to know I'm not alone! And it seems the fairer one's skin, the more difficult to correct/conceal and find that balance. Moreover, perpetual "tears" from allergies streaming down my face that not even the best setting sprays powders can lock down make me feel like throwing in the towel all together. I would love to see more content like this such as brows, skin prep tips, etc. (Ex. Letting the concealer set at lest 30 seconds before going in to blend). You have so much more knowledge than you realize! Have a great weekend!
Thank you Taylor this is an amazing technique! I’m over 40 and I’ve always had problems with fine lines under my eyes. I used the radiant creamy concealer, let it sit for a minute then blended it out with a brush, I don’t have the same powder or sponge that you recommend but it worked fine for me with my hourglass mineral veil powder I am blown away with the results ...it’s amazing ❤️ my concealer game will never be the same!
I do have oily skin but I’ve been LOVING the Tatcha Liquid Silk Canvas. I also loved the original version but something about the liquid one is doing wonders keeping my oil down throughout the day🙋🏼♀️ it’s crazy. Magic in a bottle.
As soon as I watched this, went and ordered the blurring powder and sponge.. already had concealer. Just got it all in, trying today for first time. So far so good!
This laura mercier pressed powder is A GOD SEND. Hitting 30 has decided to mess with my under eyes and recently embracing my pale skin has not helped... Everything turns my under eye area crepey or orange UNTIL NOW 😍
You’re the #1 person I trust for base products. I really want to try the Nars concealer, I have their foundations do and absolutely love the coverage !
Taylor!! You have saved my makeup life love!! I have had this same struggle for years no matter what I tried! I can NOT wait to try this!! It looks so good on you! Keeping my fingers crossed it works for me too! If it does I will definitely post a pic so you can see!! Thank you a million times Taylor! Sending love 💕 & hugs 🤗 from Indianapolis, Indiana!!
What works best for me is using a tiny amount of full coverage concealer just in the inner corner and then patting it outward with my finger after letting it sit under there for about 30 seconds. No powder at all. This method actually never creases on me. It's great you found something that works for you!
I have to say, I’ve been trying for years to get as minimal creasing and crapeyness under my eyes. I do agree with what you do, it works!! That concealer just works!! Letting it rest is key! That’s what makes the difference with it! The one I’ve found even better recently is actually the hourglass one! I know it’s expensive but it’s not only worth it, but on my 40 something under eyes (filler and Botox free is like to add!) it works wonders!! Then the hourglass powder on top of either of those concealers!
I finally got the concealer, powder, sponge and brush in this video and my undereyes look so much better! Ty!!! Im 30 and this method takes 10 yrs off my undereye age. Way less cakey/wrinkly/ dry undereyes. Wears good through day
So excited to watch your tips. Thankfully I’m blessed with decent under eyes but when I am doing clients makeup at weddings I am happy to see any tips or tricks to help this issue especially on more mature skin!
YOUR eye makeup is KILLING it !! LOVE it. I am SO glad you are doing this video, I have SUCH bad crepey, lines under my eyes, near the inner under eye.I can't ever powder it or it looks like crypt keeper. THINGS ALWAYS crease on me and none of that "hack" stuff worked either. I will have to try these tips. THANKS!!
I have the same problems with my under eyes too. I bought the powder and it's amazing. I am 45 with dry skin, wrinkles and I am blown away. I will try the sponge technique... been using a brush and would like to see if it works better.
There's no other UA-camr (from those I follow and watch regularly) that are as consistent with uploading as you! And for that, I am grateful 🙌🏻 I can count on having your videos to watch every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning with my breakfast ❤️ (I am from by South Africa and it's like 3am when you upload) Love you Taylor, hope you are doing well in quarantine and staying safe
Ok can I just say that your the literal bomb! Like your the only person I trust when it comes to honesty in the beauty community because your just so real and don’t give a flying flapjack about it!❤️ I love you and your awesomeness!
This is a great video! I like the tutorial aspect with the reasons why your doing it a certain way. Plus no you weren't talking to much- felt like your hanging out chatting with a friend! I'm so excited to try this!
You are the only make-up artist I listen to and watch every video. 💗 I ordered the Laura powder and tried it today with C.Y.O foundation and its beautiful. Thank you so much!
I like sheer foundations and always apply concealer before foundation. I recently purchased the pat McGrath under eye powder and it was not great for me there but loved it as an all over face powder.
Two game changing products for my crazy, old undereyes- both by elf. The undereye primer- it works! Decreases creasing and adds longevity! And the elf undereye setting powder- prevents creasing and not cakey!
I love Laura Mercier products! I also didn't like using the loose setting powder, so when I seen it online I purchased it because I prefer pressed powder than loose. The one I have though is the face powder which comes in a bigger compact, but it works on my eye area too! Love this video!
Ten seconds in but just wanted to say you are glowing. The whole look is beautiful. Love your makeup and the whole vibe of your background and dark hair/shirt/etc. It’s a gorgeous look
I got that sponge cause of you and use it to set my under eyes it’s such a game changer looks flawless thank you so much! I love learning new tricks for makeup love watching you 💕
I find that making sure my under eyes are moisturized and I use the Ordinary caffeine serum, it seems to help a lot. I also love the Nyx Radiant concealer, the foundation was a fail for me but the concealer has replaced all my other ones!
I know it sounds weird, but the way I get my under eyes the smoothest is to look up (very important), and pat in place with my ring finger. I barely move the location, just keep patting. I use 1 dab in the inner eye area and 1 by the outside corner. If I'm really looking haggard, I'll use elf's underye primer which is really nice and plumping. Thanks for a great video☺
We are under eye twins!! I have never found a combo I was satisfied with. Can’t wait to get my hands on the LM powder! Thanks for the video and product recs 🖤
Hi Taylor, I have been using the Juno Sponge Dry for my powders under my eyes and my face since the sponge came out. I Agree it is important for it to be Dry for the Powder Application! Always great tips! Stay Safe and Well !
Our under eyes are different, but I definitely appreciate an in depth tutorial. A great takeaway from this is don’t be afraid to experiment with your products. All of the concealers Taylor has recommended works for me. But powders vary. Try, and try again y’all!
Vicki Ysla for me less is more, for some reason applying loads of concealer on my under eyes never worked and my eyes always looked so creasy and cakey. Once I just started using just a single dot or 2 of a good concealer under the eyes, it started finally looking the way I thought it was supposed to. Lol Weird.
I just used this pressed powder today based on your recommendation and it works AMAZING! I take really good care of my eyes, however i still have fine lines, this powder by far has made my under eyes look great!
Love that cool toned eye on you! So pretty. I have all together stopped using powder under my eye because of how dry and crusty they were always looking. Now I put on my concealer like normal, let it set down for a couple minutes, tap out the creases with my finger and apply eyeshadow on my lower lash line to keep my eyeliner and mascara from smudging, and my undereyes have never looked better. However, I do miss applying powder for days where I am wearing really heavy, glam makeup, so I will have to give this a try.
When you did this in a video last week I was so excited to find a use for my microfibre sponge I got from Beauty Bay. I use it dry with loose power (my custom blend of UD Velvetiser, FitMe, Laura Mercier, Mac Silver Dusk) and holy moly it looked great but more than that, when I added setting spray, it was completely uniform and not splotchy at all like some additional coverage powders can be when you set them (Maybelline Fit Me if you don't add a full thick uniform layer to the full face can look patchy on me when I add Mac fix plus for some reason, must be the glycerin) ! XXX Great video Taylor, thanks- even though I watch *ALL* your videos and knew you were doing all this and using these products, it's still useful to have it all concisely in one video! 😍😘 Xxxx
I have always struggled with my under eyes and have all the problems you’ve talked about too. I’m feeling compelled to order all these recommendations right NOW. Your product suggestions have all been great in the past so I’m super excited to try these. Thank you for being my under eye hero and savior! Love you so much Taylor 🙏🏻♥️😍 also I’m obsessed with the cool toned taupe eyeshadow look and your eye brows are AMAZEBALLS!
Sorry is the sponge dry did you say?? The pat McGrath powder is nice too for the undereye I've started setting mine with a dry sponge and I like it way better.
I’m on accutane (thanks for all the videos you made for that. Super helpful!) and I don’t think I’ll ever go back to scented products ever again. I threw out all of my Tatcha products!! I grew up never using scented products cuz my mom didn’t because she knew it was bad for skin but at some point I started buying trendy skincare and I really don’t want to anymore.
I just wanna say I love your videos and vlogs so much. I also have to admit that your voice and your videos in general seriously make me fall asleep sometimes because you are so calming. I'm not being mean or anything... Just means sometimes I watch your videos twice 🤣❤️ thank you for being you and being my source of calm in all the stress in my life. I truly appreciate and love everything you do for us ❤️
Yess I agree with not being able to use loose powder under my eyes , I use a pressed one & now I’m going to get that sponge I’ve seen it at target . Thank you soo helpful !!🥰
I went to CVS yesterday and it looks like it's new... Joah's Wand Me Up concealer... I SWEAR it's a dupe to this Nars concealer she's using... it's creamy and very hydrating but sets itself enough to where I didn't need to powder... and I ALWAYS have to powder... idk, I'm amazed so far... I'm actually gonna go and pick up a cpl more today, DO NOT want to risk running out!!
I have to try that powder! The only powder that looks good under my eyes is the No 7 Lift and Illuminate Powder. My under eyes are super finicky, also! Usually your recommendations work great for my skin. Hope you’re doing well, love you!
Ahhhhhhhh we are very similar your must have always work for me. So l alresdy have the Nars concealer in vanilla. Just ordered the Laura mercer, never tried any LM so excited to try x
I have very dry finicky under eyes so I will give this a try. I have heard another UA-cam mention applying powder with a sponge as well which I tried. It applied way to much powder and looked very dry. I will have to try this combo and see if it works better. I will let you know.
Taylor I recommend you watch Robert Welsh and try his concealer routine maybe it could help with the creasing because it did to me and I have creasy under eyes everytime.
Your channel is my go-to when I need recommendations for any complexion related products! I even have the weird thing where foundation can look weird and textured between my eyebrows 😂 anyways I'm late to watching this video but I immediately bought the powder, concealer, and sponge. Can't wait to try this routine!
Happy while watching your video because I feel relieved that other people struggle to get the effect they are seeking. But sad because I don’t have the time, patience, and money to try many many many combinations of products to find the one that works best for me.
This actually worked for me I have also had really bad trouble with the under eye area I have 2 black eyes well looks like I do and this doesn't look dry and flaky I love it. Thanks
I just found out about this Laura Mercuer pressed powder!! It’s amazing. You are the first one I have seen mentioning it on you tube... it really works. Thanks 😊
Looks super blurred and beautiful. I'm going to get both products and give it a shot. I'm the same skin tone as you and have very similar undereye issues so I'm looking forward to trying this. Thanks xo
So I looked up the ingredients to the Laura Mercier powder and they are similar(not exactly the same) to the Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder I buy on amazon that I have. Prior to today I thought it only came in a loose powder form (it also comes in pressed)so I am going to try that with all these techniques and see how it does! Thank you so much for the info!
I love this entire video! This is so helpful. I have the same problem with powders. It’s like my under eyes have to much texture or something. Definitely going to try this!!!
Nars Creamy is my HG. I used to use Vanilla but now use the Light with Peach undertones so I don't need corrector. It's closer to my skintone too so I can use it on my face if I need to. But I never bring foundation under my eyes, I try to keep as few layers of product there as possible. I use Hourglass Ambient in Dimlight to set. I have a mini just for that purpose. I'm just too old for setting powder anymore whether loose or pressed. 😥
I love Nars radiant creamy concealer! It’s so nice on my dry under eyes. I really like maybelline fit me as a dupe, but NARS reigns surpreme. Tarte Shape Tape works great for me too. Great video, Taylor!
Thank you for this video! I have very similar issues. I actually have that unfer eye powder, but I've never tried using a dry sponge. I'm going to have to gather the other products and try it out. I hate shelling out the cash for for high-end products, but concealer is one area I will of it actually works. Maybe I'll find the trial size.
I have the worst undereyes. I've had bags since I was in my 20's and now rjay 35 the creases are insane. I have to try this technique! Side note I LOVE the nail color!
Thank you! I have been using the same pressed powder and i love it. I just started using the Nars concealer and it makes a big difference for my lines. I do have maturing skin so it's definitely hard to figure out what to use. You are so pretty. Be safe.
Oh my word you just made my day!!! I loved that Laura Mercier loose powder look but hate loose powder as well... They make it pressed now??? Soo happy!!!!!! Thank you!!
My under eyes are super picky and I think the only loose powder I use under my eyes that creases the least is the revlon candid loose powder. and the only sponge I like to use is the next one because it's smooth but has a flat side.
i’m 42 and the it’s taken me 4 years to figure out something that works great for my super dry/mature under eyes. it’s super extra but it survives 13 hours in a dry hospital. dermalogica vit c eye serum, skinfix lipid boost eye cream, tatcha serum stick, a’peau bonding balm, and then... whatever concealer and powder i want 🙌🏻 (but loving the pat mcgrath concealer and koh gen doh sheer moist powder). zoeva has a great concealer brush, and i use a soft but dense powder brush.
I love how you don’t just do things because they are the popular way to do them. You know your skin and tailor your routine to you. It sounds like it’s so obvious but I feel like most people follow the trends just because .
omg the way i read your comment at first idk i thought u spelled taylor’s name as tailor 😭😭😂😂😂
EXACTLY!!!! This is why I believe Taylor is the best makeup youtuber!!!
Laura Lewis 👏👏
Yes. She finds her own way and it's much more interesting to watch than the big youtubers who just do the same crap over and over.
“Leaf blower guy chooses my makeup”
I LOLed too hard at this!!!!! 😂😂😂😂
So true. Just go through a bunch of products and when they start up the blower that’s the choice. A whole string of quarantine leaf blower themed videos.
😂yes
Literally laughed out loud at this! 😂😂
LOLLLLLLL
Taylor needs to make a leaf blowing themed merch.
Any ideas welcomed 😂
Yes please! This is hilarious and perfect!!
Monika yessssss absolutely
I would buy the leaf blower merch.
Also, I hope said leaf blowing person watches these videos someday.
I honestly feel like leaf-blower guy has become a beloved offscreen character in this series.
Hahahah
I've been dealing with creasing with every foundation and concealer for months! Definitely needed this, thanks Taylor!
I could not believe how smooth your skin looked when you applied the powder. I stay frustrated with my under eyes. Your makeup suggestions have always worked for me.... so I am going to place and order for this powder! I am really excited about this❤
PS I found it at Macy's with free shipping right now!
Thanks Patti!

Guys THIS WORKS! I'm blown away how much better this combo looks than anything else I've tried, and I have tried a ton. Thank you Taylor!
I have watched your videos since the beginning and also just noticed you've never done a video like this. I'm soooo excited for these tips!
Me: Wow, my concealer creases look so bad, I wonder how to fix that.
Taylor: Hold my coffee.
Seriously so excited to try these tips, thank youuuuuu! ❤🙏

I somehow missed this when it was originally posted and am so excited because I always struggle with my concealer
Get better soon Taylor. We are here for you. Watching this again. Will do for several videos. Many views coming your way.

Putting concealer under my eyes before foundation changed my WHOLE LIFE. Thank you for these tips! You're the best!
Thank you Taylor this is an amazing technique! I’m over 40 and I’ve always had problems with fine lines under my eyes. XXX
Great video Taylor, thanks- even though I watch *ALL* your videos and knew you were doing all this and using these products, it's still useful to have it all concisely in one video!
I AM SHOOK! Literally same!! Every single thing u said n the comparison after u did the first eye 😳 I can not wait to try this!!!
Sorry is the sponge dry did you say?? The pat McGrath powder is nice too for the undereye I've started setting mine with a dry sponge and I like it way better.
I don't normally comment... but just wanted to say that you're truly AMAZING!
Thank you so much for being YOU🙏 I absolutely love your channel 😊
I don’t even wear concealer, or foundation, but I still couldn’t click fast enough when UA-cam refreshed and I saw you posted a new video ❤️
I get wicked bad smile line creases, haven't watched the video yet but I'm buying whatever you recommend! ❤
Ahhhhhhhh we are very similar your must have always work for me. So l alresdy have the Nars concealer in vanilla. Just ordered the Laura mercer, never tried any LM so excited to try x
I do the same technique but with RCMA loose powder and the real techniques orange sponge (dry) and it works for me. Love from Argentina ❤
I love that Maybelline Superstay Powder Foundation. I put it over EL-Double Wear with the conceal and hydrate concealer. It’s my perfect combo!
The Collab no flaws liquid concealer is my $12.99 Nars radiant concealer dupe! Very creamy, lightweight, hydrating, and blends effortlessly!
I have very dry finicky under eyes so I will give this a try. I have heard another UA-cam mention applying powder with a sponge as well which I tried. It applied way to much powder and looked very dry. I will have to try this combo and see if it works better. I will let you know.
I have the absolute worst time with concealer, so excited to hear what you do!!
Thanks xo
your eyes look AMAZING in these cool tones. i can't get over how freaking gorgeous you are especially in these tones !!!
I’ve now finally got the sponge, so I tried this technique. It really works! 😮
I had no idea it's Friday. Thanks for remembering the day of the week. 😉
Gorgeous look! I'd love to see a tutorial on the whole eye makeup look!
what's the foundation brush you're using?
Right out the door...my perfect video..this is what i need to learn..minimize creasing under my eyes....now back to the video
Great video again! Yey! Getting me through lockdown, PGCE and keeping my beautiful daughter entertained xxx
Oh and fulfilling every dogs dream of being home
All day x
You literally read my mind with this video. I was looking through your videos the other day to see if you had something like this!
i’m 42 and the it’s taken me 4 years to figure out something that works great for my super dry/mature under eyes. it’s super extra but it survives 13 hours in a dry hospital.
dermalogica vit c eye serum, skinfix lipid boost eye cream, tatcha serum stick, a’peau bonding balm, and then... whatever concealer and powder i want 🙌🏻 (but loving the pat mcgrath concealer and koh gen doh sheer moist powder). zoeva has a great concealer brush, and i use a soft but dense powder brush.
Litterally curling my hair and you mentioned your bump trick. Tried it instantly. 😍😍😍😍
I bought all the stuff in this video and WOW, it worked!!!
