Good session. Great idea to mic up players during a game. Always thought communication, relaying information quickly, the phrases used and listening between players in a game was an area that deserved more attention and practise. Impressed this is being used hopefully with constructive feedback and will continue to be used regularly during the season in training sessions and bounce games to improve communication across the team in competitive games.
Actually players don’t want to wear a mic during training that’s just too much pressure for bloody training totally unnecessary it makes the squad feel uneasy they need to bond in privacy
@@b3njys235 Too much pressure in training…. makes them feel uneasy… totally unnecessary…you having a laugh. That’s what training is all about practicing under pressure so you get better coping with that pressure so you take that into a competitive game. Mic”d up players during a training game is a great learning tool that will help improve communication and passing information better during a game. Thank god your not a coach….
@@craigieboy007 That’s why when he told the player he was gonna mic him up 00:15 he was uncomfortable with it and so he should be it’s total BS the players do not want it.
@@b3njys235 I have to disagree with your take on this. He was surprised not uncomfortable… did you listen to what the coach then said… the first 2 communications after a mistake is made is important to organise people. The feedback the player will have received after the coach watched it back will improve his communication on the pitch guaranteed. I bet this is used regularly during the season. Can you imagine Marshall being mic’d up during a training game and the young goal keeper watching it back and listening to what he says, how he says it and when he says it… you can’t get a better learning tool and experience than that. This is a great coaching tool and I am impressed the new Manager is using it.
@@craigieboy007 If the manager needs a mic to understand whats going on then he is clueless and players learn from each other they don't need their teammates every word and fart recorded to understand the game.
