I hate when that happens bro, every time I get a new lure I order some “sticky” hooks from Shop Carl’s and change the hooks it comes with, they sell a kit at academy just to do it. It’s rare but I hardly ever lose a fish with them. Their the same hooks they put on the googan hard body lures. 🔥🔥

I’ve been thinking of getting a new reel and rod combo and I’m just getting used to a spinning reel do you suggest I stick with it or get a bait caster?

You should buy a baitcaster it has it up bro you can fight a fish alot faster. You can fish different lures on it. You already have a Spinning Reel keep using it until u feel super comfortable with it & once in awhile throw the baitcaster around so u can start learning it, cause throwing a baitcaster can be a headache sometimes. Just set the break all the way up at first, you will end up loving baitcaster !
