Did you have to extened the wires for the first setup you have? I have 14in apes on now and want some 8" risers. Didnt know if i need to buy a smaller cable kit or if I could run stock length.
I didn’t on this one. This bike is the definition of beater so I’ve chopped the wires up multiple times with the different bar set ups I’ve ran. You should be fine with going to 8” risers and tbars with the cables you have now. You could always cut them down and splice new pins on the ends if you want the cleaner look
I have an 05 custom I am reworking. Has the factory hardwired line between the triples. 😡 Did you bypass with the new braided cables? If so what length cable please?
