- Trash & Recycling pickup in dual body truck
Some mixing occurs... it happens
Date: 12/22/2022
Location: Shirley, Ma, USA
Truck: 2020 Mack LR640 Labrie Automizer 60/40 Split 37yd
This video is intended for entertainment only. Any other use is prohibited. It's only trash.
7:01 recycle in the trash and trash in the recycle side lol
it happens
Great video! My area used to use a 50/50 split for trash and recycle, but it just didn't work with all the cardboard. At least you have a 60/40. Keep up the good work!
The cardboard definitely does make it a lot harder. Especially this truck only has one crusher panel.
Thanks a bunch, keep em' comin!
If I lived here I would 100% bag my recycling
everyone else does... why not?
@@NashobaTrashTrucks well normally I wouldnt but I would here just so that smaller things like bottles and cans dont switch sides by falling through the cracks. But I'd use a clear bag so that sorters can see the contents and not assume that its trash.
Very nice! Love the Mack’s Hope to get this job one day!
great job nice video
Looks like you got the same problem as me … the arm giggle because of the brass inserts in the grabbers .. and it sounds like you need grease even though you greased it good ..
I grease the arm 2x a week
Damn that's a lot of cardboard😮
Is it so hard for some folk to break the box down before putting it in the bin?
it really is
That's too much work I guess
Way better to use the left one for Recycling!
I don't suppose it matters much but wouldn't it be a good Idea to have that flipping lid painted black and blue on either side. so you can see on the cameras?
That’s a good idea but I think he uses the sides reversed sometimes
Not really. I can usually tell based on what chamber is open left vs right
True
@Jeyzpot heard Capitol got lexington from you guys?
From what I heard yea. This company has been jacking up rates and scaring Munis away. But they did get Fitchburg Trash so we'll see how that goes.
Tires are allowed in the garage? Lol
Technically no...
How does the hopper door work in the truck? Do you have to constantly flick a switch or push a button or does it work automatically?
Most of the time it is a toggle switch on the joystick. Some trucks have buttons some have rollers.
Did the recycling side get full?
No. This was a mostly trash route with very little recycling. that's why the sides are switched in this collection.
