Boris, you will find out how adored you are by the multitude of Angelina 'angels' roaming the planet Earth! I constantly play some of your video's over and over again (well over 100 times) and I feel a closeness you must have with her. Like Alan said, so many of us wanted to know so much more about you and "voila", here you are!
Boris, so many of us who have been 'around the block a few times' discovered Angelina and we have become so engaged with her through her music and also because of 'who she is'. And regardless if we are still working, or semi retired, or totally retired, we have redefined what we thought our life would become in our later years. We have adopted a purpose in life and it is to do what we can do to introduce Angelina to those who have not yet discovered her yet. People often ask me during our conversation about Angelina, "Why do you do this? Is she a relative of yours? Do you know her?" My answer is the following (and, I often tell some 'angels' to try the same approach because they are often confused how to do it without screwing it all up): "I'm telling you about Angelina because she is a very unique singer and she has this ability to emotionally move you when you listen to her sing. For people like you who haven't discovered her yet, we want you to listen to her sing. And then, Angelina will take it from there. When our conversation is over and we turn away from each other I will have a big smile on my face because I know what's going to happen to you and I am so happy for you!"
Alan and Pontus, congratulations on another fine Podcast. I don't know if you had to twist Boris's arm a little to have him join you but the three of you looked like you really enjoyed speaking with each other. And we had the benefit of listening to some very interesting stories.

From what we've heard, Mery Zamani was a precocious child herself. So it's likely that she was able to spot her granddaughter's giftedness early on. All those who love AJ can thank her grandmother for having started filming her granddaughter at such a young age.

Angelina is not of this world! Boris, I suffered from panic attacks as well. There's nothing so debilitating. I did get over them with the help of medication. But listening to Angelina is so soothing and she makes most people cry and smile with her songs. I can't understand it. I'm glad you're feeling much better 😊
Merry actually has a channel of her poetry I have visited it and there is translations of her Iranian poems which are quite insightful and beautiful

Thank you. The effect that Boris describes, which Angelina has on him, is universal. I recently experienced some profound trauma in my life and was spiraling downwards until one day, watching an Angelina video, I startlingly realized that I was smiling from ear to ear, for the first time in weeks. So of course, since then, I faithfully take my daily dose of Angelina tonic 😊.

Angelina has indicated at different times that sitting in a classroom was never really right for her. Remember her earlier TV interview where she sang Unchained Melody the first time she said she learns much more from travelling, and and her recent documentary she revealed that from early on she couldn't go to school because people "from LA" were coming to her school after the NGT appearance. And I recall an early clip of her sitting in a class as her classmates were singing and looking really uncomfortable. Angelina is a bird that has to fly free💖

What a wonderful podcast! I think you could do 2 or 3 more podcasts with Boris! He does have a unique and close perspective of Angelina's journey.
With Boris we've been Angelina's Facebook groups admins for maybe 6 years or so and have gone through a lot to keep those communities respectful, full of relevant information and fun, always putting Angelina's interests first . A wonderful partner and friend 😊
He has been an essential part of Angelina's promotion and, in sharing his recordings and perfecting them, has built a true legacy for all Angelina fans to enjoy. Thank you, Boris!

This was very informative. It’s great to get a better view of at least some of Angelina’s inside world. So many of her Angels have been helped simply be listening to her construction of a song. All three of you gentlemen relate to how she has captured your emotions and helped you to see the humanity in this world in a better light.
I too wish we could all live in peace and brotherhood, but from the beginning of time even small tribes fight to keep there surroundings to themselves while others see their grass as being greener so try to take it. Wars start.

I, of course, knew Boris for his many enhancements of Angelina's videos but I had no idea he was directly involved, with the Family approval, in promoting Angelina. That's great! What a great episode! We finally got to hear and see Boris and it was very enjoyable. Nice to see that the cat is not really a hat for him! LOL Thank you Boris for sharing your story and insights with us. Your story of how Angelina affected you pretty much is similar to other Angels who listened to her for the first time. She means the world to me and to the Angels. She got me through the loss of my mom and my bout with cancer. Her music is very important to me. My day is not complete if I don't listen to at least one Angelina song. Thank you Alan and Pontus for this wonderful podcast. Season 3 has been incredible!
I love that "Water of Life" expression, Boris. I, too, am being returned to Life through listening to our barefoot Angel. Very interesting about Mery's finesse with world religions. Alan, the ladders. There is an icon in Eastern Christianity that shows a ladder to heaven. It is very old. And every time I see Mery's ladders, I think of that icon. Not quite the same, but... I look for what is common to all religions. Alan & Pontus, thank you so much for introducing Boris to us. It has been wonderful to see his face and get to know him a bit. that was a great episode an I have to say I´m one of those people that have met Boris face to face at the 2019 concert in.prøysenhuset where my picture is from and that was the first concert I went to. you to hear with Boris about the song "Song for A" because the composer on that song is Russian.

Interesting to hear that Angelina somehow helps people with different ''issues''.... to just overcome them and become this different and better person just by listening to her sing with that voice. That is what many people are saying, including myself. And I still can't answer what or how Angelina does that to us. But as long as more people gives me confirmation, that it is not just me, but thousands out there experiencing similar side effects of Angelina-listenings, I have to settle with that. That is what actually may happen to those who fall into the Angelina rabbit hole. It is very strange, but it works. Thank you again for trying to explain the Angelina side effect. Thank you so much for this podcast. I’m sure many of us have wondered who the mysterious Boris Palenovski is. I may have missed it but I’m not sure how he got to be sitting with Mery and talking with her at rehearsals and how did that lead to the relationship with the family. Did he just walk up to her and begin a conversation?
Alan, unless I misheard, I think you made a comment about Angelina having 5 original songs. She’s actually released 12 to date plus the new one she debuted in Vegas. She’s said that she’s actually written over 100 and is still writing.

Boris - we heard your cat is named Alice. Is it a coincidence, or did you name her thinking of Alice in Wonderland, who famously went down a rabbithole (like us all!) ?
It was a coincidence, but when I first saw her passport, the idea of Alice in the Wonderland (which I alove and quote often, bot in Russian and English as well as "Through the Looking-glass") immediately came to my mind and the name was kept :)

Wonderful presentation Boris and nice to finally get to "meet" you. We have communicated a few times in the past although it has been a while. My questions are those that I think everybody has and you may not have specific answers. But I would be interested in your thoughts and feelings about the possibilities. It was said that Angelina would begin to be fully promoted after she graduates school. That has happened but we haven't seen a great deal of activity at this point other than a couple of only mildly promoted concerts. Do you have any thoughts about what is coming and when, and that would include her album? Second question is do you have any feeling about whether Angelina will be looking to appease the record industry and move more into pop, or whether she will maintain her wheelhouse in jazz and the classics? Thank you for your thoughts in advance.

Boris, tusen takk for this wonderful podcast episode and for all you do to support Angelina. I would love to know how you learned of each concert that you recorded. Was each concert well advertised? Also, approximately how many people were in attendance at each concert?
Basically, I was constantly searching "Angelina Jordan" both with Google and Ticketmaster. But, for Angelina's Christmas tour of 2017, it was advertised on her own channel and in Norwegian media.
The audience at the concerts I've attended started from about 200 people at Gamle Norge to more than 10000 in Korea
@@borispalenovski6302 Thanks Boris. I would love to know the approximate size of the audience at Proysenfestivalen - 21.07.2017 since that is my favorite concert. Oh how I wish I could have been there.

I also think I read somewhere that it would have been 150 people, but that might have applied to 2019 concert at the same location instead. Here I get the impression, it's been slightly more people.
