don't know how this only got 75 likes. Beautiful. one of my favorite songs. That you guys worked on this for at least weeks and I got to enjoy it, at the least, let me say THANK YOU for such a beautiful rendition!
The Cool Choir here does a beautifully melodic rendition of "Let The River Run" written by Carly Simon, commissioned by director Mike Nichols, released in 1989 in the music soundtrack to the movie, "Working Girl" (1988). "The Simpsons" cartoon show used it to end the first episode in its 30th season (2019). Carly Simon won the Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1989. The song also won a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song at the 46th Golden Globe Awards... and a Grammy Award for Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or Television in 1990. Bravo, Cool Choir! Bravo!
Thank you so much for our support. But as you know, because of dark conspiracy and stupid jealousy(they never admit my nobel idea of spending Shohei's money for the sake of world peace based upon prevaling this great philosophy), I am still struggling. Nevertheless, the world trend and my domestic situations are ever changing, making progress, I think. So, I will continue to encourage the vulnerable people of Communist bloc mainly, and may not be able to present Buddhist explanations to ther people, incl. you. Even if it so, please understand me. In order to establish world peace, to save them is the most urgent issue, which would save us, too. Could you know that? I am breaking down various barriors by fulfilling my missions, and thereby, I am summoning up the gurdian deities for us. Always thanks. Miki
The conductor and singers were right on. Loved the ending.
one of the few Oscar winning songs that truly deserved it
