I started getting into Metroid around 6th grade when Dread released and I tried out the demo and loved it. My first Metroid game was actually Super when I was around 6-7 when I got an SNES classic. I got really scared after the Ridley section in Ceres and then didn't pick it up until after I became a fan after picking up Dread. Then, I got AM2R on my phone, Prime Remastered the summer after it released. And now I have Zero Mission and Fusion on an emulator and I just love the series. I really can't wait for the rest of the Prime Trilogy to get remastered and and Prime 4. Then of course, Metroid 6. Nice to see other new fans as well
@@Selenethederpyduck I’m happy you like Metroid just as much as I do! I never expected to love it this much, but here I am! I’d love to say I enjoy the series a normal amount but I can’t (I just got a Metroid Dread amiibo yesterday) I’m hoping the admiration I feel for the series right now sticks around for when Prime 4 comes out. Speaking of which, I still have to play the Prime trilogy! Thanks for watching and sharing your experience! It means a lot to me :)
The most logical explaination for Quite-Robe-X being able to neutralize her powers is Because of the Thoha-DNA being capable of controlling Metroids. Though I wonder what the X has seen in the Mind of Quiet Robe when it entered his body. About the Suit Change, it is clear to say that her Power Suit in General is more than just Sheets of Metal, it is basically like Mother Brain from Biomechanical Origen, meaning the moment it connects to her body, the suit basically is a part of her body. It is more than just a suiz, it's like an Additional Layer of Skin. That's why the SA-X can even mimic her Varia Suit, That's why the Suit of her changed into the one of a Metroid, That's why the Absorbed X refill the Suit's Energy and Ammunition, That's why she got her new Fusion Suit in the moment she got the vaccine injected
@@Chris-gx1ei Over the last week I’ve been trying to understand more of the lore regarding Metroid, so none of this is surprising! I did know that Samus’s suit is more than just a suit, rather a part of her when she has it “on”, but I guess I was still seeing it as a suit that she’d have to sort of carry. I only ended up finishing Fusion AFTER Dread, so my knowledge was a bit limited during the recording of this video lol. I really appreciate you helping me understand more about the Quiet-Robe-X and the SA-X. Metroid has a lot going on in its lore but feedback is the perfect way for me to get a handle on it! @@Danthonyt I’ve seen reviews of Other M! I also don’t think it’s as bad as people say, but I can understand their gripes about how the game portrays Samus. More so, Dread shows anger, while Other M shows grief and fear. Thanks for watching! :)
A memorable moment I have on the boss and game in general being fair despite being hard for the boss Experiment no. z-57 I ended up getting stuck going on one of the phases thought it just had a lot of health but than I realized something was going on so search up turns out I was just not hitting the parts I had to hit to continue and it dawned on me I thought the game was being dumb no it was me the whole time I just wasn’t paying attention funny thing is when I was stuck on it I wasn’t really struggling with it I was just going and going that I master the phase so when I replayed the boss cause I killed myself cause I thought something went wrong instead of just pausing it I really wasn’t making the best decision in this game that phase was a cake walk
@@dellosayshello5405 Embarrassingly enough, a lot (all) of the bosses gave me a hard time! I would take stupid hits and I’d have to retry again and again just have to get the phases down. Def not the easiest game but it’s far from unfair :)
The only real negative thing about this game is that it acknowledges the existence of "Metroid: Other M". Other than that, it is a great game and a true return to form for the franchise.

Yes, Samus is very strong. Even without the use of her power suite, she is superhuman. Check out the mangas to learn a lot more about who she is.
