A big thank you to the Jet Lag team for taking part! - Розваги
The big news, for me, is that I finally found a good use for wireless earbuds.
W
Fine.
Get that raycon sponsor bestie
Tom I love you
I legitimately love my Raycons I use them all the time, it's great for low-key listening, or meditation or music listening to not have headphones.
I love how calm Ben is when giving wrong directions and driving Sam to the point of insanity
Is revenge for how Sam chased him in the last games 😅
Amd future sight on him plagiarizing Snack Zone@@ILoveManCity.
Sam: “My long legs will be an advantage.”
Tom: “I’ve got his legs!”
Ben: "But your damn legs are too long and visible" 19:15
🤣
The most entertaining part of this video for me was Tom frantically running trying to find Sam, while Sam just calmly strolls around London.
Despite telling us he should be a better runner because he doesn't have a backpack
The funniest part for me was Adam trying to pronounce Farringdon Street and Holborn, I live in the local area and it was honestly hilarious to hear 😆😆
That is exactly the kind of thing Sam would play in a Jet Lag game.
Love the music changes toms hectic and fast and theirs is slow and nicer
"Sam is almost on the same street as you" Tom starts panic running, Sam in reality is clearly half a mile away.
The fact Tom still wore his signature red shirt was such a low-key power move
Recognisability is dominance
He doesn't really own any other shirts besides a suit
He's said before on the park bench that he just orders a bunch of red shirts off Amazon
Props to the camera operators for keeping up with you running around London and keeping a camera pointed at you while they are doing it.
And at 5:31 even matching Sam's stride perfectly so they don't show up in the reflections in the windows.
@@matthewgiallourakis7645 damn, nice catch. The camera operator had a great presence of mind
I wanna know how they seem to make no stepping noise
@@FairyCRat Video and Audio are recorded seperately. Sam and Tom have mics on them so while we're seeing the video from the camera operators what we're hearing is the microphones tha tthe two are wearing
@@The_JPhantom tom made a video on this didnt he? Also yes what you say is likely true
This further confirms that Tom knows literally everyone.
He has already collabed with Sam on his game show Money
Well, he certainly has reached a point where he just can reach out to anyone and they would at least have heard of him
@@jimmyisawkward So he did. I watched Money before discovering Sam's channels, and when I did, I was like, "Huh, that guy's voice sounds familiar. That's strange", and then forgot about it.
Tom is that one degree of separation for UA-camrs.
@@fluffyjello depends on how small the UA-cam is, but 6 degree is probably guaranteed if they're connected in any way
I would've loved like a full season of Jet Lag with Tom as a guest, although that probably wouldn't have worked schedule wise.
i think soon that could be it... he did say he wanted to slow down after 10 year anniversary
@@PrograError I don't know if spending 3 days on planes and trains is going to fit in with taking a step back from his overcomplicated schedule
Also John and Hank Green also wanted in, with John already cameoing in the Tag game by coincidence.
I now want to see Jet lag with everybody's favourite Gary Brennan, Gary Brennan

It was nice to see Sam from Jetlag: The Game joined by Sam from Wendover Productions and Sam from Half as Interesting. Glad they're finally getting along...
And they all wore the same clothes!
Sam old Sam old.
@@andrewgrant6516the pun god
no way i love sam from jetlag: the game, sam from wendover productions and sam from half as interesting, i never thought they'd meet up!
It seems that when Tom doesn't know what to do with someone he puts them in London and chases them around.
There are worse places to spend your time!
@@phyphor Are there really?
Tbf chasing someone around fits in well with JetLag's whole shtick. It actually makes sense for this particular collab.
Well, there was also that one time it was in Nottingham.
@@phyphor Worse ways too. Being a maker I nearly made a version of the AirTag game but with custom made trackers where the users would have to read and interpret raw coordinates. I called it off due to cost.
I love how even Tom noticed that Sam likes to bend the rules.
Fr jet lag is gonna have to get lawyers to write the rules
I think everyone noticed that. Not noticing that Sam likes to bend the rules would be like not noticing that Tom can teleport.
@@sethadkins546 splendid idea
That is one of the reasons I share the joy with Adam to see Sam to lose (usually feels like he deserves it)
14:29 "okay, that's interesting. [Half as interesting]"
Tom and his caption game always on point.
Underrated detail
Wouldn't have seen that without you! Thanks
I love the start animation that Tom does as he begins running. His arms flail out and his whole body begins to move in the direction. Love your content buddy.
Now we just need a season of Jet Lag with Tom and John Green.
"Hi, I'm Sam, I'm Tom, and I'm John. We're here at Sydney, and we're gonna go Looking For Alaska"
@@Ramboost007 Yes!!! If someone stops by the AFC Wimbledon stadium, they get extra travel budget.
I loved everything about this. The difference in energy right off the bat, underlined by the different musical scores. Tom's panicky overthinking, Sam's scheming, Adam's recurring "that's interesting", Ben's unfazeable calm in the most urgent of situations, all culminating in that tense standoff... I don't think I have ever been so thoroughly entertained by a youtube video before.
If you enjoyed that you should watch Jet Lag: The Game. They’ve done three UA-cam seasons so far, with another one on the way soon I believe. Honestly is one of the most entertaining things I’ve ever seen.
@@samtay6181 haha, thank you very much for the recommendation, but I'm way ahead of you! I got me some Nebula only for Jet Lag, and have absolutely no regrets in that regard
@@durdleburdle3521 Did you enjoy Crime Spree?
@@qwertyTRiG I did enjoy it very much. You can tell that it was a test run of sorts, as the rules have the kind of kinks to them that would be ironed out with each subsequent season. But it was still very entertaining, and I would recommend watching it, if that's what you're asking.
@@durdleburdle3521 I've watched it too, and also enjoyed it.
Tom has to be one of the most consistent youtubers out there. Every bit of content is class.
it's almost 10 years in the making...
True dat about Tom!
100%
Also consistent enough that he felt the need to give us advanced notice that he was going to be slightly less consistent.
Well this aged horribly (since he’s no longer uploading at all now)
I recently became ADDICTED to Jet Lag! And this is my dream collab. After seeing your Mentour Pilot vid, I thought nothing would get better! Love you Sam, Ben and Adam ps when is next season coming??
same.. Found the channel recently and deadass binged like 20 30min videos in less than half a week
December. They posted a very short vid of themself in American flag patriot-type outfits on time square
@@mrsquid_ Same same! Found out about Jet Lag because of the accidental John Green cameo and tore through every available episode in record time. Now as I'm pining and waiting for the next season, they pop up on Tom Scott plus! Soon all of my fave UA-cam channels will combine into a single unstoppable crimefighting entity
Same! I literally just found their channel yesterday and I've already finished their tag across Europe series
@@mrsquid_ half a week??? i finished in two days!!!
Fun fact: Jaywalking is not a thing in the UK. It's not a thing in most countries. It isn't even illegal in Canada, but there are some local by-laws that prohibit the crossing of certain streets. The US is the outlier. So Sam had nothing to worry about in this case :D
yay streets are for people
We tried to "regulate stupidity" as a thinly veiled way to further abuse people in low-income communities that are covered in roads. America!
Wow that's probably the most high stakes game of hide and seek that I've ever saw. I was sweating when I saw that Tom and Sam were this close to eachother.
Although part of me hoped that this would end with both of them hiding behind the same tree like in a cartoon.
They're just circling each other around the same tree trying to avoid each others camera.
You should watch the 72 hour tag game on their channel then. Thats a lot more intense than this still
If you enjoyed this, definitely watch Jet Lag: The Game.
Not high stakes but still intense
Like that Pink Panther cartoon where he's painting a pole?
Great job getting the teammates energy to match. Tom & Adam were sharp and on it, communicating well and efficiently. Sam and Ben, however, were just sort of loping through life as it comes, right? What will be will be. "How close is Tom?" "Ummmm.. (10 seconds later) about a quarter mile." Just a couple of chill cats. Fun stuff as always!
And I can’t tell if Ben was doing it because that’s just how he is or specifically to piss off Sam and more importantly I don’t know which option is funnier
@@heynyquildriver Both of them seem in character for him.
@@heynyquildriver
They got him drunk again
Just sort of... vibin'...
Thanks Tom for recommending us to Jet Lag!
Amazing work all around!
Love your captions, the colors really make it easier to follow the video!
Always love your captions 😊
Thank you for such consistently awesome captioning.
Seriously amazing job with your captions, I hope that for the next Jetlag season you could make it work to caption the episodes on Nebula? Because their own (I think automatic?) captions there are really bad.
The collab we always needed!
Oh yes, I just found jet lag the game a few months ago.
@@kleseus I love that game. Hope they do a new mini-series soon.
Was just about to say.
@@rmeav8er677 if I recall correctly, they're putting another one out next month.
Tom did a collab with Sam before
Words cannot describe how badly I need the Technical Difficulties to play their own game of Jet Lag.
as a student at the London School of Economics, seeing Sam wander around my neighbourhood is SO crazy given that I've just binged three series watching him run 1) across the U.S., 2) across the world, and 3) across Europe hahaha. he literally walked the exact route I take to uni everyday ! such a weird thing to see
Not a student of LSE but in the same area all the time because of the Inns of Court and it is very interesting seeing a game like this in an area you know incredibly well.
@@windows95leon Yes!! Seeing the final showdown at Lincoln's Inn Fields felt very odd haha
I love Ben's relaxed demeanor in the most stressful of situations. The juxtaposition is hilarious.
I remember when Corridor did this back then, but indoors and full of crowd blocking off the camera 😂
Also we need a full season of Jet Lag with Tom!
If I remember it was a camera convention right?
I see that Tom is continuing to work on the sorts of life skills he’s going to need when His Majesty calls him up to say “Tom, the double-0 program has a vacancy. Your country needs you.”
He already has ties to a large network of powerful people and the ability to travel without arousing suspicion. He's definitely wanted for the job.
12:07 love that Tom is poking fun at Sam stretching the rules which he did in Jet Lag
This was awesome. Ive watched both Tom's airtag videos and jetlag and am always amazed at how well Sam and team do at creating an exciting game out of people running around cities like idiots. This was an obvious team up but a pleasant surprise that it happened
Have to give major credit to the editing team. Tom and the Jetlag guys do great work, but I suspect that for all of the chase games on both channels, the editing makes the difference between exciting content and an unwatchable mess.
For us Jet Lag viewers who are currently mourning the end of the recent series, this was like catnip. Cool collab!
Oh my god. This is like my dream collab
Tom's running really is like a video game character, especially the way he starts
Very true, haha!
tom scott once again running with a backpack through central london. some things never change.
I think this would work brilliantly with a small delay on the opposing team's tracker (like a minute or so) so you can make movements without each team's location being immediately apparent to the other
This is already the case, they mentioned there is a lag and they have likely moved from the spot that is shown on the tracker. Doesn't seem to be a whole minute though.
Not sure how strict the 3 minute rule is either. There was a lot of sitting around waiting behind a tree there at the end... Not sure moving to another tree counts or not.
@@danbert8 they weren't very strict about not moving unless your spotter says you can
@@Trucker_James Sort of got the impression that those two rules ended up getting in the way of each other a bit.
"I'd say it's very hard to tell what he[Sam]'s trying to do"
spoken like a true Jetlag veteran there Adam!
He was heading north west that time, too!
The best parts of Jet Lag is where Adam and/or Sam assumes that Ben is executing a 4D 200IQ Interdimensional Chess play and try to counter it, but Ben is actually enacting a zero-depth strategy and manages to evade their counterplay by doing nothing.
This was great! However i think it would have added tactical depth if it would have been allowed for each team to deactivate the gps for like three minutes once. Could make some interesting decisions on whether to try a stealthy approach or to save the stealth mode for later (maybe after the other team used theirs). Great collab whatsoever.
The main show, Jet Lag, has powerups where you can deactivate your tracker. You should give it a try.
Coming back to this after watching all of Jet Lag, it's weird not seeing Ben and Adam on the same team.
I thought it might be unfair having Adam as Tom's handler but then I remember how much Adam loves to beat his boss.
I love that this video is like an entire season of Jet Lag, but condensed into twenty minutes and one city. It's the closest thing to Jet Lag without actually being Jet Lag. It's like Jet Lag apocrypha.
The hyper competitive mix of Adam and Tom is a pairing I am living for.
I love watching Jet Lag, and I love watching Tom's "chasing around London" videos. I could hardly be more excited right now!
5:00 - Tom is channeling Prince Humperdink from "The Princess Bride": "He must have seen us closing in, which might account for his panicking into error."
Tom, I'm starting to wonder if you're slowing down your production schedule so you can create an entire channel that's just AirTag Tag around London.
Entertaining as always!
With an occasional foray into Nottingham.
Damn tom, you got no chill no more. You just keep on giving us everything we didn't know we wanted
Finally, a face behind the voice.. Sam absolutely doesn't look like what I was expecting, at the same time, he looks exactly like some who would create something like HAI.
His face has been seen a few times before. And you must check out Jet Lag: The Game.
It’s so hard when you see him using the good microphone too lmao
You should watch JetLag: the Game, which this is based on.
Sam's face was also seen on his previous collaboration with Tom, on a show called "Money".
Imagine going through London and Tom Scott just randomly runs past you
When I finished watching the tracker episode I immediately tried to find other videos like it’s me it led me to Jet Lag, absolutely love their stuff and this collab.
Sam: "I wonder if [Tom]'s also gone for the defensive strategy."
tom: * Literally planning to do the exact opposite of a defensive strategy *
Nearly Jet Lag meets Oceans 11. I can see Sam and Tom: "OK, they are near a big tree.." [both on each side of the same tree] Sam "I will go clockwise around the tree" Tom "I will go clockwise around the tree" Both: "Very strange, I can hear him, but still don't see him" continues for hours.
14:30 Subtitles: "Okay, okay that's [half as] interesting." Not sure if I am amused or annoyed that they slipped that in there
14:29 whoever made the subtitles there, good job! you have made me laugh a bit

I've been waiting for this collab for ages!! Would love to see Tom on Jet Lag.
Never thought I would be seeing this collaboration! I found Jet Lag's channel quite recently (from when they made the channel) and been following Tom a long time definitely didn't expect them to collaborate but wow you guys' need too again!
This game could be really fun if you discard the trackers, and use an app with a safe area that slowly shrinks over time (Think PUBG). As you'd have no idea where anyone is, you'd end up with much less of a "two people sitting behind a tree waiting for the other to move" situation
If you like the idea, I can probably develop something like that in a fairly short amount of time (Altough, honestly, I'd be surprised if no one has done it already)
I would like to play these kinds of games with my Scouts and/or Explorers, so if you found something please share!
Or put a 5-minute delay on position reporting. It's where they were 5 minutes ago instead of where they were 1 minute ago.
That was fun to watch. Reminds me a little of a game i came up with in college - headshot.
It was when facebook messenger would just send the photo as soon as you took it. You would create a group chat and youd all go hide somewhere. Then its essentially a free for all taking pictures of eachother. If you get 'shot' you are out for the round. Last one standing wins. Thing is, as soon as you take a picture, everyone else knows your exact location... tense if you miss or see two people at once hah. had a lot of fun running around an otherwise slightly dull town on the outskirts of London playing that xD (and yes, i was quite proud of the double meaning on 'headshot' at the time)
I recently found Jet lag and love their videos, the fact that you did a collaboration is amazing! :)
Yo this is awesome, I have seen some similarity between Jet Lag and Tom and Matt's budget thing. Seeing them collab is nice

I've been missing the Jet Lag crew, I only just got into the show during the most recent season and I've already watched all their content, including the nebula exclusives. Thanks, Tom!
As someone who recently just started getting into Jet Lag, this was a collab I didn't know I needed

Hello,
I follow you both, Tom and Sam (Half as Interesting - mostly). Seeing you together playing hide-and-seek in London - has been the top of enjoyment.
I like the contents you both produce, and since UA-cam is mostly for pasttime, a funny game is just as good as a cultural video - because in the end, your works are the mirror of your personality; personality which is a big part, possibly the biggest, of why so many people watch your videos.
Thanks to you both,
