Listen to playwright Rick Elice tell the story of how PETER AND THE STARCATCHER came to Broadway.
Take a hilarious romp through the Neverland you never knew with PETER AND THE STARCATCHER, the most mayhem-filled evening of madcap fun on Broadway! Based on the best-selling Disney-Hyperion novel by Dave Barry and Ridley Pearson and the winner of 5 Tony Awards® and Broadway.com's Audience Choice Award for FAVORITE PLAY, this swashbuckling prequel to Peter Pan will have you hooked from the moment you let your imagination take flight.
Im playing peter in a production of this. i love this show; I love what it stands for.
Please, PLEASE consider filming one of the performances and selling it on DVD. I promise there's a market for it, and it would touch the hearts of so many more people who will never get the chance to see it in person
wish all the good plays had been filmed so we non nyc folks can see them!!
I saw Christian Borle's last performance as Black Stache in PATS when I was in NY over the summer. It was honestly one of the most engaging, hilarious, and perfect hours of theater I have ever had the privilege to see.
It's true to the heart of the books (original and scratchers). Children playing real make believe. Saw a production in Portland OR. Was so happy to see the story brought to life.
I saw all the actors after the show and was surprised and delighted how kind and how much they cared and interested they were with their fans.
Ah I saw it off broadway!! I had never heard of it at the time and I still can't get this out of my head! That was so long ago!
I love this play so so much. I wish it was staying longer so I could see it again! The
I just finished recording the entire score and it’s by far the hardest score I’ve had the privilege to play. The Rachmaninoff of musical theatre 🎭
Pleas come to Chicago!

I'm sorry but I would have to say that RENT is the biggest thing to come out of NYTW. But I'm excited about seeing Peter and the Starcatcher in SF.
Why is none of the music in the video from the show itself?
