Your Midnight Mass video found its way into my recommendations. I put it on to fall asleep to the other night. I'm now watching this video whilst dealing with a bout of insomnia. I just subbed, criminally underrated channel. I hope you explode. Your channel that is. Not you literally like a space x rocket.
Great video as always. Just promoting more Mars media, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard's Infest the Rats' Nest is an album w/ many of the themes discussed and I love it.
I just keep thinking about this math teacher I had in sixth grade who told us she was a novelist and wrote a novel about Severus Snape falling in love with a math teach muggle and taking her to his world and this video recontextualized that whole experience for me.
edit: finally finished the video, i lost track of the amount of times I fell into a coughing fit from laughing so hard. I love how relaxed but engaging your videos are. It always feels like I'm listening to someone go on their hyperfixation rant at 2am and I love that. I can't wait to hear how the book ends! Thank you for making these videos!! just started the video and real talk - The Brave Little Toaster to the Rescue traumatized the SHIT out of me as a kid. I avoided window AC units as an adult and cried when I saw my first one irl as a kid and to this day I go out of my way to make sure my vacuums don't eat their own cords. My dad made fun of me for years and then my senior year of high school, my family was flipping channels and the movie was on for some reason. I straight up refused to be in the room when they decided to watch it, I left and went out to the balcony (small area). About 30 minutes later my dad came outside and was like "okay, i get it now". All that to say, you have missed NOTHING by never seeing that movie lmao

These videos are a mix of two very dissonant energies, one being very thoroughly researched and edited essay and waking hungover going "Oh no, I did it again". Also I really enjoyed the Mars related list, it really reminded of Tim Roger's Cyberpunk 2077 video.

Excellent video! This was incredibly well made and overall just a great conversation. Not directly about mars, but you might enjoy the game The Outer Worlds.
