i have been ordering condenser microphones from amazon and returned them because they work on mixer for a while then stopped to work after this video i realized that i had to turn the 48V on my mixer switch to make it work thank you for your help

Thanks Karan! I am strugling to have my condensor mic delivering decent sound via my mixer. Whatever I do, the sound is really poor and of low volume. And I am talking about condenser mics of resonable quality. Next to using the phantom power, is there anything else I need to take care of? Thanks

2. Polar Pattern Selection: Condenser mics often have selectable polar patterns such as cardioid, omnidirectional, or figure-eight. For general purposes, cardioid is commonly used as it captures sound from the front and reduces background noise.
3. Positioning and Distance: Proper mic placement is crucial. Ensure that the condenser mic is positioned correctly and is at an appropriate distance from the sound source. Experiment with different positions and distances to find the sweet spot that captures the desired sound accurately.
4. Pop Filter and Windscreen: Attach a pop filter or windscreen to the condenser mic to reduce plosive sounds and unwanted wind noise. This can help improve the overall clarity of the recorded audio.
5. XLR Cable Quality: Ensure that you are using a high-quality XLR cable to connect the condenser mic to the mixer. Poor-quality cables can introduce interference and impact the sound quality.

I like dynamic (the 2nd one) better - it doesn't capture all the reverb of the room. Dynamic is better for a loud live situation. Condenser better for singing in your room to a video. This was a great illustration of both types of mics.

I have a Weymic Professional Mixer | 7-Channel 2-Bus Mixer with a CZE-7C FM transmitter. How do I connect a microphone to the mixer so that when I am talking, I can hear myself on the radio?
I am currently using my computer to play music and I was able to connect the transmitter and computer to play music. Music can be heard on the radio.
The only problem I am having is connecting a microphone to the mixer so when I speak, I can hear myself on the radio. I have three Pyler wired dynamic microphones with the XLR hooked up to the microphone itself and a 1/4 inch jack on the other end.
Any assistance will be appreciated.

So I was planning to buy this mixer with a dynamic microphone, but then I watched this video: ua-cam.com/video/rsQN8f5CXW8/v-deo.html same mixer, but apparently he cant get his dynamic microphone to work on line 1 and 2 (maybe because the mixer's preamp cant provide enough gain?).
If i connect this mixer to an audio interface with a good preamp, will the dynamic microphone finally work on lines 1 and 2?
I know I can just skip the mixer all together and just buy an audio interface by itself but I need the EQ and Repeat/Delay knobs on the mixer too.

Hi i used dynamic mic with this mixer and it worked without any issues..mayb there some issues with mixer in the refered video..and i also used this mixer with my audio IF that also worked like a charm..i will give the links to some of my other vides with same mixer if u want u can check them out and get a better idea..

Do Condenser mics use different XLR cable than Dynamic mic?
