- Total Touch was offered a record deal in 1995 and their debut album Total Touch was released in 1997. The first single, "Touch Me There", became a summer hit and went platinum, selling over 100,000 copies in its first month despite only peaking the Dutch charts at number 14. In 1999 there was an attempt to market them in the USA and they released the single "Doo Be La Dee" featuring mixes by Mark Picchiotti and the single featured a new Frankie Knuckles mix of "Touch Me There" as well. Presented here is my mix. It might pick up copyright from La Fuente's "I Want You" as I've used elements from that drum section which is layered underneath that funky tambourine. I've reproduced the rest of the instrumentation from scratch. Enjoy!

This singer sounds like Whitney and Mariah at the same time and it's confusing me
Her name is Trijntje Oosterhuis. She's depicted in the video still alongside her brother Tjeerd. Some of her 90's songs with Total Touch are very Mariah-ish. Check out their songs "One Moment Your Mind", "I'll Say Goodbye" and "Somebody Else's Lover".
