Thank you for making this video explaining the firmware update process. I got the S1 pro in July 2018 and haven't been able to connect my speaker to the Bose connect app. I was so confused. A lot of other reviews don't mention anything about the manual update process.
When they are linked via Bluetooth, the mic will only comes out of the one speaker where the mic receiver is connected. The only way to get the mic time come out of both speaker is use the 1/4 inch cables
Great, but can I still use to have a karaoke by these wireless connection? I mean without the connection from output to input to these 2 S1 Pro, and I just need only a microphone?
What about using a mic or instrument inputted through the first speaker? Can you still use the wireless app and play through both speakers? Or is it just for Bluetooth music?
Hi, thanks for the video. When I click on the bose connect app, I also get the:"Don't you see your product". I did the update and it says it's up-to date, version 3.3.0. But it still does not work, and shows me again "Don't see your product" Any suggestion would be very much appreciated. Thank you.
I would connect two of them exactly like this and use a 1/4 inch to connect the second on each of the ones we already have connected through Bluetooth. But I haven’t tried that yet. Try it out and let me know how it goes.
@@HRR I connected a Shure BLX88 wireless system to speaker 1 for karaoke and it worked fine. However, when I connected an s1 pro speaker 2, using the bose connector app, the music played on both speakers but the voice goes to only 1 speaker. I would appreciate any suggestions?
Please help! It's working except when I plug my wireless microphone into a speaker ,the sound only comes through one speaker. How to get wireless microphone to work on both speakers? Thanks for any answer! Love you videos and love Bose too.
@@tuskersclub4283 so sorry, never saw this question. No, as a matter of fact I can't get the microphones to transfer to the other speaker still. I ended buying another set of wireless microphones to connect separately to the second speaker. But of course now I have two microphones coming out of one and two coming out of the other. To the untrained ear you can't tell, but I can. So annoying! Did you ever figure out how to do it?
@@HRR With this Bluetooth receiver/transmitter that you provided to connect both speakers at once on Apple TV. Does it work come out both speakers for Karaoke? Thanks
Hi do you need to be connected to a wifi network to play in party mode. Can you play both speakers in stereo mode Outdoors where there is no wifi? Thanks
Thank you. And is music playing as Mono on both or as Stereo left and right channel? My local dealer tells me it's only played in mono on both in party mode. Your comments are much appreciated.
Troubleshooting problem. Both S1 speakers only synced one time. Now I can't sync them. Firmware has been updated, followed every step and still nothing.
I bought an S1 recently, I noticed when I use bluetooth on computer it sounds really bad. When I plug computer into speaker with a cord it sounds much better. Is there any way to get same clean wireless sound I get with iphone by running Mac laptop computer wirelessly??
The Bluetooth is it’s separate channel. So yes, it works with the Mic inputs also. You can actually play Bluetooth music, and still add on another instrument to the other channels along with a mic. You can use all three channel and play them all 3 at once. All 3 also have their separate volume control
HappyRider Reviews thanks for the video :) if I pair both together in stereo mode, through the app, and connect a mic and guitar in the remaining channels, will I be able to hear the mic and instrument also in stereo? Or will I be able to hear the mic and guitar only through one speaker?
The stereo mode will work with the audio coming directly from the connected device. So if we used channel 1 and 2 for guitar and mic. Guitar and mic will only be heard on that one speaker, while audio will still be in stereo mode. That may be an update Bose will put out in the future.
I have 15 inch speakers...to get even sound out of them ...I can use a quarter inch and simply chain them together..but this bose I can seem to do it...the speaker has two drivers...ok...then I have Bluetooth for my simple music...but then there is a quarter inch port that says out.....ok and into what....can I link with a quarter inch? Cord so they equally sound the same ...lol if not I may have to send them back...I can do it on my 15 inch Peaveys..speaker line speaker line etc...please draw I picture if you have too lol
What will happen if you turn off the speaker? Does this automatically reconnect to each other or you need to do the connecting for yourself all over again?
One question, Could I connect these through bluetooth and use any music software I want on my laptop to play in stero wirelessly ? Im a DJ so I would be using a laptop not a phone but still would like to use the bluetooth to connect to them both together wirelessly is this possible using a laptop ?
@@HRR I cannot find a Windows version of this app. There is currently no way to connect two S1 Pros via Bluetooth in Windows. I can connect one speaker and daisy chain the second S1 via a cable, but no stereo Bluetooth for Windows. Hopefully one will be released soon.
@@mikemanuel57 Hmmm... if that's the case, i would buy Bluetooth transmitter off of amazon for about $40-50 bucks and that way you can actually connect to 2 Bose S1 at once... not sure if you want to go that route.. but that would be a good option Until they release it for windows.. (i thought there was also compatible with windows..., i may be wrong)
Try disconnecting it and forget it completely under your device Bluetooth setting, then recharge the speaker, then reconnect. Sometime it lags because of Low battery in the speaker
Anyone know an answer to my question? My 2 S1 pro speakers are not syncing even when I follow every step on here. The firmware is updated, and it only worked once. Not anymore. What gives?
Try deleting the app and reinstalling it. Try with a different device as well. It may be due to phone firmware? Those are a few things to check and try
@@HRR So apparently, I don't have to use the bose app to connect and sync both speakers. My Samsung S9 phone has an option for Media in the drop down menu which also allows you to sync 2 speakers via Bluetooth. It works. For those with Samsung phones. Thank you

I noticed no where on UA-cam does anyone showed this, so I figured I’ll do it.
Would 2 x be much better than one & would it become stereo or just sum to mono ? For Busking 😊
Yes, it’s much better. And yes, it will become stereo.
Can you share how to link 2 bose s1 pro to TV to sing karaoke?
can you review the new JBL eon one compact. can you make a comparison between the two. thx.
DO you have a video testing the stereo capabilty? wondering if it really separates the left and right channel.
Yes, it really separates them to left and right

Stereo sound will only be the audio coming from the connected Bluetooth device. For instruments, we’ll have to wire them as output/input
I have question if this Bose S1 pro could be utilized as sub woofer, say, to a Yamaha stagepas?

This method is to connect them both with an iPhone or Android. I’m not sure about the Yamaha tsr-7850

Can I update the firmware of SOUNDLINK MINI BLUETOOTH® SPEAKER II ?
