This video will cover the main points of the 4 categories of E.Coli. Included are enteropathogenic, enterohemorrhagic, enteroinvasive, and enterotoxigenic.
Thanks to your insightful and informative lecture, I now understand the type of E.Coli strain the Mexican restaurant I visited six days ago put on my plate along with the refried beans. 😳🤦🏻♀️😭
ETEC has 2 different types of toxins, one is a heat-labile toxin (LT) and the other is heat-stable toxin (ST). The first one increases AMPc in the host cell, and the second one increases GMPc. Both of them result in an enhanced secretion of water and electrolytes. Which one is the SI toxin? I've never listened about it
Very interesting! I was wondering it ETEC causes salt to be released through one's salivary glands. I often get a strong taste of salt in my mouth when I have an infection. Doctors have not been able to tell me what that is but it makes logical sense that if there is lysis of salt and water that it might lyse through the mouth as well as through other orrifices.
Greetings! Can you tell me some natural treatment for EPEC? My kid suffers of it for a while. I won;t give him juices anymore :( I'm fed up with antibiotics cures that doctors prescribe us. Please help asap! Thank you!
There aren't natural treatments. Only way to stop/prevent is antibiotics and making sure you're being clean. I'd say the cause needs to be investigated in case its a food related intolerance or other medical condition. Could be IBS. Or E.coli could be antibiotic-resistant. But for the love of all things mighty... do not go "natural".
One comment as I had a now late friend do this as well there two different types of uppercase letters. serif and sanserif. A serif is the end pieces sort of like winglets. Usually they match serif letters are all serif and likewise sanserif are usually well without serifs! WHY people mix in sanserif the serif 'I'. Thus making an uppercase (capital) look like the end of a steel girder! In Europe where I am from never mixes in serifed 'I's with sanserif letters. We generally use ALL matching capital letters either serif, or sanserif. Looks more educated as well. I could never understand Americans using serif 'I's only! Maybe because the numeral one is just a straight line like a sanserif 'I'. We usually put a little 'flag' on top left of the numeral one designate it is a one and not the letter I. We also cross our sevens as well. This not to confuse a 7 with a 1 - especially in handwriting. Otherwise your dissertation was spot on! BTW I am suffering from ETEC right now, always having to run for the great White Porcelain Throne with the backside squirts!

We eat E.Coli, no literally. Bacteriophages are the chicken grit of the large intestine.
