I am still pretty young (20), but my whole life has been spent as “the single friend” & I have never been In a relationship or had anyone ever had interest in me. i struggle a whole bunch with anxiety & confidence so I seriously couldn’t be more grateful for god putting you in my life to speak the things I need to hear the most, hard truths and all! While most of the rest of us went through a dozen soul suckers... I wish, I so wish I could have been in your place at 20. But I was destroyed by then. I did marry at 22. And for 3 decades my poor husband has been striving to love me into wholeness.
My truth?
My husband, himself, is broken (from living in a very dysfunctional and strife filled home)...
We are OnLY whole and.. "flowing"... We are only STRONG in our marriage, when we are putting our relationship with God first... Bc we have an enemy.
Remember:
Both GOoD and dEVIL have a name. And it is IN the name.
Flee evil..
And cling to God ❤
IF you have messed up...
God can make you new..

Life is always a struggle...
But eternal life with Jesus, our Prince of Peace... That is the final stop of our journey. Our life on Earth is short. Lead as many as you can to HIS Light. Bc through all of life's shifting shadows, THAT is where my truest joy has been found:)

Men’s family don’t allow him to grow up
When I saw you on the bachelor and saw your genuine faith it makes me want to be that way. You have a real faith that radiates wherever you are. The Lord is truly using and working in you and it is so clear. That is what I want to radiate to others I meet.

Madi you have no idea how much I needed this right now. I have been with the same guy for 3 years and I just know he is not the one God has chosen for me. God is pushing me to move from Oregon to Dallas TX and that is actually how I found you and Jeanine via UA-cam. I am finding the strength to move there alone and start over and find my life in Jesus Christ again after years of sin and sex and gluttony and selfishness. I am ready to give up the life I thought I wanted for the life I know God is leading me to. So many affirmations I am finding as I am letting God lead me. I am so excited and scared for this new chapter but I know my life and my convictions are in Jesus.

Yep! You're right. Look for someone with shared values. In the end, we all get old and ugly so their has to be a deeper bond than just the artificial and arbitrary.
This is exactly how I have felt. As a 30 something guy, I have felt inadequate, several times. I’ve found myself in being alone constantly, even with Godly friends. All my friends are married or in a serious relationship. What’s crazy is I’ve found God puts you in a season of loneliness, sometimes for a while. The journey God is taking me through right now has been bumpy. The great thing is God has perfect timing, and knows that currently we’re going through a place where we’re growing in him snd learning who he is and his voice by ourself so WE can hear his voice snd not count on others to hear his voice for us. Sometimes God has to shake the foundations to awaken a sleeping giant in him. Time to go win souls for Christ. Don’t settle for less. If you’re ever up in north Alabama at highlands let me know. Would love to hear your story.

I'm from Africa, a single business, i felt inadequate ,insecure but I'm so grateful for being single cuz a lot of marriages are breaking.
WOW this is really inspiring, thank you Madi!! I am almost 25 myself, and it seems like everyone in our age group is married or dating. I also feel that something is wrong with me, and worried I'll never find love. I've actually never had a proper boyfriend before, I've gone on a few dates I guess but never really felt a connection. So when I see other people in relationships, it makes me feel that something is wrong with me because nothing has ever worked out with me the way I wanted it too.. I guess I'm just picky, or God is saving me for the right guy. Anyway, I love what you said about "Singleness is a gift" and it's funny because I watched a sermon last Sunday and the pastor said the same thing! So, maybe I need to change my thinking and instead start embracing it.

Such a shame that you and Peter didn't work out - the chemistry, adoration, and perhaps even love was there, but at the end of the day, it was clear that you two were on two very different wavelengths. I am glad you are at peace with everything now, and just know that one day, a man will come into your life and he will be the reason you'll forget about all the other men in your past and he will be everything you deserve and more. I so love your message of enjoying singlehood in God's plan/timing. Getting married is a blessing, but it's a huge deal to marry the right person instead of marrying for the sake of being married. I married someone I believed was a believer, but then a lot of horrible things happened in our marriage that nearly destroyed me. God is still good and faithful, and He's given me beauty for ashes, but that wasn't without many years of trauma and pain. He's currently restoring our marriage, but yeah, so much better to marry the right person God has for you ❤

I agree that being being single can bring you happiness as well as being married, BUT only if you are married to right person.
Enjoy your season of singleness. A marriage or relationship shouldn't be something you look for in order to "complete" yourself or to escape from "brokenness."
Madi I don't know if you are going to see this but I am from Opelika/Auburn too! You made the whole town so proud of how well you carried yourself on the show! I just had to just like this before I even watched. Great video Madi! I pray that God keeps using you to encourage this generation. Yes standing for God can come accross as "too much" nowadays (even Christians), being strong willed can get us into rejection and selective acceptance but when you meet the right people they absolutely appreciate that. There are certainly some things we needs to improve as human beings (no one is perfect) so as long as we surrender ourselves to God, He'll reveal those to us and use us as His vessels. They say "marriage is not to be happy but become Holy ". The same applies for character:"standing for the truth isn't to prove that we are right but to let God break us and mold us". At least that's what I believe. The end product is a beautiful mosaic art piece :) Ppease keep using your platform to impact as many people as possible 👍🏾

Going off of what you said, along with what we should look for in our person we can use this time of singleness to work on ourselves to have those same qualities we are looking for. When the time comes when God puts the person meant for you in your path, is he or she going to be attracted to you because of the character, qualities you have etc. (Just a thought that I had when you were sharing)

Phenomenal video and great advice! I wrote a list of everything I wanted in my future husband and 4 months later, to the day, I met him. If you're looking for hope during your singleness phase of life, I promise it is possible to meet your perfect match if you stay true to who you are/what you want. Those 3 years of singleness felt really long and hard in the moment, but I look back now with so much appreciation for them. They helped me meet the one. You can do it

I feel like God sends that person in our lives when he thinks we are ready for that person. He just wants us to be patient. He puts us through relationships that don't work out cause he knows there is a person out there for us and he will send them to us in time.
I am also not where I thought I would be. I'm am 26 almost 27 and still single. I live in Alabama too and it does feel like everyone here gets married so young.
This was sooo useful, sooo real and -for me- sooo needed. I appreciate you making this video for us, and so God-centered! Going to take notes: hmmm one thing was missing was peace, God’s peace (her previous relationship in college). So good about peace! Speaking God’s Word over oneself. Dating herself. 3 C’s: 1). Conviction-What are his convictions-what are his beliefs-how is he living this out, can he challenge me in his relationship with Jesus, 💗2). Character: lead me, a man of his word, prove his loyalty, will he treat me well and others, who does he surround himself with, 3). Chemistry. Know what you value. Here are my boundaries and here is the why. What is meant for you will be yours. Surround yourself with good people.
