This video is perfect, the only thing i would also add to this video is under "posts/categories", I would change "uncategorized" to "general" .. i think it looks better on the front end
I was hoping to learn something new, but I didn't - BUT, I have been working with WP for 15 years and the advice given in this video is a perfect and quick way to customize WP for most purposes. These 3 extra minutes can save headaches later for sure. Great video!

I actually do almost all you mentioned here except for the image sizes.
I always wondered about those 3 darn image sizes. Seemed silly to me but I assumed they were there for a reason. Well, ya know what happens when you assume something!?! Thanks, Imran!!

I did a video a few weeks ago about my Essential Plugins 2023.
Increasing PHP Memory Limit does depend on Servers, but I will create a video.
Do you do this steps for every new Wordpress installation or is there a way to automate this proces when having a new installation? I would like to create som kind of Wordpress preset where all settings, plugins, themes are already setup when I start.
You could create a BluePrint site that you import to each new site with those plugins, snippets, settings, etc.
Hey, I have plenty experience working with WP and elementor. I'd love start my own freelance carrier. Could you give some places where I should start looking for clients? Where do you seek clients? Or maybe you could make separate video, how do find and approach new clients? What are the questions you ask and how do you calculate how much a client has to pay for your work. Much appreciate! Oddly, when I change in the general setting http to https, the admin for WordPress goes offline. Page error says too many redirects. I expect it has something to do with my Cloudflare settings, or at Pair Networks host. Thanks.
Have you checked with your host provider?
@@websquadron Thanks! Yes, Pair Networks (Pittsburg) recommended Really Simple SSL plugin. This seems to have worked to propagate SSL settings. I'm curious whether the Pro version of RS would be wise....
What about disabling the image sizes when I have pages in Elementor where I chose the thumbnail size in an image widget? Will Elementor not use the Wordpress generated image thumbnail or does Elementor already resize the image inside the plug-in itself?
EL will use what you add to be used.

Another question about image size, WP creates different sizes to display the one that best fits the screen size. If there is only one size, won't the performance decrease?
Won't there be any problem to inhibit this mechanism ?
@@cyrillesanson5047 I have never had an issue with this, and it's a question that gets asked a lot. Even with WooCommerce products, blogs, etc, images come through fine for me.

Has it ever happened to you that your database on wordpress weighs 1gb.. 1.5gb?
I made a simple and simple website, nothing special (just 5 plugins, astra theme, very light images that weigh only 20kb... a very standard site, actually), and I can't understand why my database is so heavy.
That observation was made to me by the hosting company where I have my website hosted.
Do you have any light that illuminates my thinking room? 😓😓😞
Are you storing form submissions? What about images? Are they WebP. Also do you have duplicate images in your database/files?

I am new to these tricks of creating databases, please be patient with me in how I formulate my ideas: 😓😓
1) no, I'm not storing form submissions
2) the images are png, and some are webp, but in general, almost all of them are very light... they only weigh 20kb... so I don't think it's that
3) duplicate images? ujumm...🤔🤔 I'm using the all in one migration plugin, and I'm using it as follows:
3.1) I build a website
3.2) then, I create a copy with all in one migration
3.3) then, that copied website, I install it in a new subdomain, and I start to build and design a new website, on top of that previously built website... and I repeat the cycle n times
3.4) each website, only has less than 10 urls.. and they are all simple.!!
It is very rare, because they are simple and simple STATIC web pages... most of them are even, of the astra theme...
a) Do you think that all in one migration is repeating the images in the database, every time I do this Imran?
b) isn't all in one migration supposed to just create copies, without having to duplicate everything in the database again?

Yes, All in One is creating copies. Go to it in WO and delete the backups except the latest.@@rafaeln.castrom.6453

Only change what doesn't have serious impact. Make a backup, do things one at a time, and check, check, check, and keep taking backups.
