How to get CESR in Psychiatry I Certificate of eligibility for specialist registration

Dr Ampalam is an IMG doctor from India who completed his MD in Psychiatry in India and also finished his MRCPsych while working in India. He came to the UK on the locum Psychiatrist post in 2020 and was able to accomplish his CESR in 2023.
CESR is an alternative non-training pathway to CCT to get on the specialist register of the GMC. The specialist register of GMC enables you to work as a Consultant in the UK.
CESR stands for "Certificate of Eligibility for Specialist Registration".
