You inspired me back in 2007 when I first discovered affirmations via a book of yours and a you tube video and it was the start of manifesting my pain into motivational inspiration to help others and support them from my own life experiences and I still swear by affirmations as a daily self love practice. Love you forever and we continue to pass this cycle of self love and freedom from pain on ❤
When I looked at in the mirror and say to myself I love you and I approved you. I after hearing those comments, tears comes out of my eyes and I heared the little child inside me and said where have you been?
Everytime I feel low I listen to the various recordings of Louise Hay's and get that kick to be in positiveness in everything I say and do. Love you Louise!!!
I had little bit watery eyes when I said that affirmation .. and I was wondering why I didn’t say it to my self a long time ago ... I will practice this every day
and on the other hand my father was self deprecating and not able to be assertive, a terrible kind of passivity that held monstrous rage, and i have some of that too. and he had a good side too.
i got after, i did the mirror exercise, the message i got back is, " you are a monster" i was surprised with the intensity of hated that arose and it came from my father, who was very very angry, harsh, punishing, violent raging and shaming. i also got from my mother, but not as strong, what are you doing saying something like that so vain. i could not quite believe the pure fury that came my way as i said that to myself, fury, scathing fury and pure hate, just hate. violent hate wow.
Now you know, where it comes from. Their own inner critic projected onto you, an innocent, a child, entirely powerless to control its environment. It wasnt about you, and it was vomited into your mind. These are intergenerational traumas, passed down generation after generation, until someone wakes up. The bridgebuilders between generations,, the way makers, the restorers of streets to live on. I am so sorry you received such terrible pain. may you be whole and at peace.💜💙💚
