The charge controller in all Felicity IVEM model is a ROM. Imagine out of 2.4kWp solar installed, you are only harvesting about 500 watts to 800 watts. My similar experience is with the 5kW model. 10 units of 400 watts connected in series installed on this hybrid, I could only get about 1kW at the peak of the sun. I love Felicity products, most especially their MPPT external charge controller but this model of inverter is an error for me. This inverter has been damaged and repaired thrice within a year.
