RESTORATION OF ERATHIA
Erathia's capital of Steadwick is sacked by the dungeon lords of Nighon and the demons of Eeofol. Catherine's first task is to establish a foothold in the conquered kingdom by enlisting the aid of allies. The wizards of Bracada and the elves of AvLee answer her call, and together they push towards Steadwick and eventually retake it. In the meantime, the necromancers of Deyja, having been responsible for the assassination of King Gryphonheart, plot to revive his corpse as a lich. They plan to use his wisdom in leading their own armies of the undead. However, King Gryphonheart's will proves too much for the necromancers even in his corrupted state, and he becomes a rogue lich. Having little other recourse, Queen Catherine is forced to ally herself with the necromancers and together they set out to destroy the lich of King Gryphonheart before he becomes too powerful.

Hi, just leaving a few tips if you care for these.
Griffin Conservatory doesn't give you griffins, it gives you angels.
In H3 one town can be upgraded to have a Capitol which gives 4k/day, and all secondary towns can be taken only up to City Hall (2k/day). And if you have hundreds of resources you don't need for building, then can trade them for gold in the marketplace. The more market places, the better the trade ratio.
When you wish to revisit a watermill, windwill, portal, whatever - you can press space bar, you don't have to move the hero away and back to the mill again, wasting movement points like H2.
You can often trick an enemy into attacking your castle by tucking in your army off your hero, inside the garrison, and the dumb ai will think he will be fighting just your hero with no army outside.
A core mechanic of the game is waiting in combat, but it requires some learning to get the hang of it. It's mostly used for hit and run, get two turns in a row with a fast unit, or wait for the enemy to get in range of your accurate shot (accurate shot happens as far as 10 hexes away from your archer), leading from less to no loses in combat; alas, you should be able to finish the game without it, as long as bleeding army is not a big deal.
If you wish for your heroes or army to move faster, there are options for that, and can also enable the music if you want; music is a strong point of the series.
And yeah.. iI mean if u want to reduce 100 clicks to just a few clicks, could get the HD mod. One button swap army between heroes, one button recruit all in town, one button auto split stacks, etc. A life saver if playing the game for the Nth time.
The Griffin Bastion definitely gives you an extra 3 per week

@@FairMaiden97.Gaming bastion =|= conservatory. Griffin bastion (level 3 dwelling) is the griffin dwelling and it's free. You only have to fight for level 5-7 dwellings. The conservatory is a creature bank, meaning you fight for a one time reward. Inside it you fight 5 stacks of 10-40 griffins (total of 50-200 griffins) and are rewarded with 1 to 4 angels based on the size. The other bank that gives a one time army reward is the fly hive, you fight flies for wyverns. The other creature bank types are literally banks, giving you money and resources (crypt, dwarven treasuryy, medusa stores, naga banks), or money and artifacts if it's a dragon utopia.
Yes, hero in bottom town slot/row, army in top town slot. But there needs to be room for your hero to automatically fold inside the town when attacked. If you have a soldier that the garrison doesn't have, you will stay outside during the fight. Example: garrison has 1 halberdier in all 7 slots, and hero has 1 pikeman means you won't fit inside. If you instead also had one halberdier in the same situation then your hero teleports inside and the army will be a single stack of 8 halberdiers. The 1 from the hero+ the 7 inside
I recommend installing horn of the abbys patch. It adds so much quality of life stuff. Easier to transfer units and items between heroes, quick combat allows to to accept the result or redo the fight yourself, lots of keybinds, like making fast 1 stacks or splitting units and many more. It really saves a lot of playthrough time in the long run

@@FairMaiden97.Gaming welps, guess I won't retype where to get them since you decided to stay vanilla. Though the hd/hota fan work is of professional quality, is hassle free and bug free, that's why there's up to 4k people playing the game online every night. And the original musicians helped with the music for the new towns in Hota.
Btw "hd mod" , not to be confused with ubisoft's h3 hd, a complete fail.
Very important for you perhaps: you can install hota and hd mod and you can still just launch the original executable if you don't want the changes, so installing them doesn't require any reinstall to go back to vanilla. In fact, all mods come with custom .exes so you can always just double click the og exe if you want to turn the mod off

I would recommend horn of the abyss expansion + hd mod (not the one from steam but fanmade)
it adds a lot of quality of life, and you can also change resolution for big screens
horn of the abyss even has online lobby with 2k players online daily
there are 2 new factions which are really balanced and designed perfectly to fit in

Wow! I was waiting for this to happen 😆 I just played HoMM3 Wake of Gods which I can strongly recommend (community built). Lets have a few hours of Fair Dinkum Maiden time 😘

@@FairMaiden97.Gaming you want to try that one, not only much more balanced game xp, but the HD version would give your vids a better quality too
the Shackles of War is actually a great artifact you can have, the enemy would only want to flee when they are helpless and going to lose, this would not allow them to flee but stay and get wrecked :)
the other thing is Diplomacy, one of the game breaking skills that you can have (I actually like it), it makes the wondering monsters to more likely join you, the better the skill is, the cheaper they join and when maxed out and have a greater, more scary army at your hands they will join like never before. Kind of make sense, like I want to join Russia now and get the fack out of the EU 🤭🤭
Heroes of Might & Magic is not the kinda game i want diplomacy in hahahah fuck that i just wanna kill stuff lol
next time please upgrade your archers to marksmen 😋
