    Your a good Dad getting involved with your kids, Today most parents don't wan't to hear or see there kids and just give them a gameboy to go play in there room. I'm getting that bike X 2 for my nephew's because there father is a pos and doesn't spend time with them at all.

    Thanks for showing the video by allowing your son to get it started. Usually, many people had the video with the bike already started and you cannot tell who can and cannot get the bike to start. I like that you showed the whole process of him starting for himself. Thanks, and it was a very helpful video I have seen by far. Thanks for sharing Mr. Boyd. I appreciated.

      @@tmoor1858 me to. i feel like my dad will get this for me if i help him assemble it (he is not a certified mechanic, but he can do that kind of work) and if I pay for at least 100 dollars of it. so i hope so lol. I only have 60 dollars now. from working for 6 hours.

    its a Lifan engine and the plastics are crf50. checkout ebay crf50 Plastics, if you wanna change the look of the bike or replace broken plastics.

    So I’ve been looking at this bike and wanted to know how to start it also please link the website where you got it from also do you have to buy parts for it or does it come assembled

      It's a kick start motorcycle, so there is no key. This one is also a semi automatic so it kind of gets you started with regular motorcycles because it has gears that you have to change but it doesn't have a clutch. Depending on your weight I would say this little bike with run about 40 mph.

      The place I bought it from is out in California but they don't sell it anymore. You do have to put it together but you don't have to buy anything. It's not hard to put together but I don't remember what all you have to do, I think you have to put the front tire on and the handle bars but I don't remember for sure.

    I liked the atv that rode by. Would you recommend that for a child that is just starting out. I have an 8 year old. What brand/type/size?

      My son that was riding the Apollo sports track 125 was 7 at the time about a month and a half before his 7 the birthday. So yes I would recommend it.

    Started riding bikes his age, needs the weight and support of a riding boot to kick start it or use heel part of his foot. I can still kickstart a bike w/ just sandals 🩴 if I kickstart using my heel!

      The bike is decent. It's an Asian bike so keep that in mind. The best thing is the parts are cheap and easy to find. I've had to replace the brake cylinder and foot pegs. He logs the bike, so I think your son would to. Great starter bike.

    Make sure to dump the gas after the fall and winter cause it can cause sticky gas and stuff

      If you have ethanol-free fuel available near you then you don't have to worry too much when it comes to winter storage and fuel going bad. Ethanol-free fuel does not collect water like fuel containing ethanol.

    thinking about getting one for my son. is your son's bike still in working conditions at the time?(4.10.19) any issues with the bike at all? i just don't want to buy it then break down 3 months later. thanks in advance .

      The bike is still working. We have had our issues but for price I would buy again. The kick stand and foot pegs broke off and had to replace the rear brake cylinder. I plan on making a video of repairing the foot pegs. They where welded on but I can't weld. Lol

      I would probably get him or her a bigger one but honestly an adult could ride it. Yes the kickstand and pedals broke off but that was because of adults treating it like their bike.

    I just got one but when I barley give it throttle it takes off way to fast. Am I doing something wrong or?

      No, it just takes getting use too. After you have ridden it for awhile you'll get the feel of the throttle

      I bought it at www.powersportsmax.com but they don't seem to sell the TAO anymore but the do sell the Apollo, pretty much the same thing, the parts are interchangeable.

      For the price I like it. But, I have some repair vids coming up. It's not the best built thing but it's a quarter the price of Japanese bikes.

    Mainly most of the information was right but this is a TaoTao not the Apollo. the Apollo is green, but other than that this is a great videos inform people though I do agree the Kickstart is a pain. 😅(Unless if you did say this was a TaoTao and I just have bad hearing.)

    Don't rev it on cold or drive it let it warm up unless you want your engine to not last long

      I will fit you pretty good. Your just 3 in. shorter that he was but that will all depend if you have long legs or a long torso. Still I think it will work for you.

      Norm Webb usually 20-25 mph but it the bike and road is in really good condition it can do 40

      I'm going to say somewhere around 35 to 45 mph, depends on the size of the rider.

    My son have the same one, road it 1 time & it started leaking gas. Got my other son a smaller 1 & he’s won’t crank up after the second time riding it. Is anyone else having trouble. I’ve looked at the reviews after I bought it & the reviews not as good. Spent 1700$

      The are not as sturdy as I would like but no starting or leaking issues.

      $1700 is a LOT. The local pawn shop near me has the DB14 for $850 and even the DB17 for $1000 out the door but I digress...Check Amazon for a new aftermarket carburetor and try changing the spark plug to start easier
