It's becoming official!!! How exciting. It must feel so gratifying to finally be able to assemble all those petals, after sooooooooo many hours of hand embroidery. The feeling of swishing in this dress, concious of the physical weight of your hard work and skill, will be an indescribable sensation. Time to spoil yourself and pick a nice pair of shoes to match.😊
I started at the top because the weight of the petals would make sewing the waistband a nightmare so it was easier to add the top rows, add the waistband and now just work my way down

Why did you start at the top and not the bottom? Genuine question. I've never made a petal dress so I'm just wondering what the benefit is.
