I m afraid this is the last panel for 24" in 16:10, all go to 16:9 non business monitor aspect ratio. Probably EIZO still can supply 16:10, they have their own panel product line?

hi do you know if the power delivery through USB C can be switched off during monitor standby mode? I am not sure if it will do any harm to the laptop battery health if I leave it connected with PD all the time
Not sure about that as I no longer have this display to test. Battery will get most stress when it's always full or empty. So it's best to set your laptop settings to 70 or 80% full charge if that settings is available, and if you plan on plugging in to power all the time.
Don't get this monitor if you have a Mac is so annoying.. I got this form work. I used with windows pc on Daisy chain mode (MST). The problem is when you go back to MAC if you forget to disable MST mode you won't be able to see a thing. The most annoying and stupid thing about this montior is the OSD Menu, you cannot use the menu if there is no signal. Forcing you to boot and connect a windows pc just to disable MST and reconnect Mac. The other problem is a 2 monitor setup with new Macs will require two cables. Combinations of two cables between HDMI, Display port and usb-c taking into account all your cables have usb/-c connection to your Mac or a dongle per cable.
Hey, I have a question about Aspect Ratio (8:31 in the video, I believe it was not mentioned later in video) - can you set it to 16:9 and get non-stretched 16:9 resolution with black bars at the top and bottom? I wounder if it would be possible use Xbox console with this monitor without having stretched picture.

Ye, that's good. However, with your budget, I recommend you look around for 1920 x 1200 resolution monitor with 100% sRGB if possible. Look at Dell monitors to see if there are any.
I have a question regarding connecting another monitor to this monitor as a dual monitor setup. Can the U2721DE be connected to another monitor via the display out port? Does the laptop connected to the U2722DE HUB need to have a graphics card that support display 1.4 mst.
U2721DE should be able to daisy chain another monitor via the DisplayPort out. As long as the computer has DisplayPort, it should be ver1.4 because that's very common.
Mac user here and if I daisy chain 2 monitors to USB-C to my Mac Mini or Macbook Pro, will the USB 3.2 ports on BOTH monitors work? Or only those on 1 monitor.

The specs look good. Just make sure it has the ports you need. I personally won't go with that model because I use MacOS and 4K on 27-inch is a bad combo. For Windows, no problem.
I use the S2721QS for Win10 and it is excellent. Great 4K resolution, rich colors at a great price. Once you start using 4K, there is no going back. The P2721Q is similar to the S2721QS but has USB ports and a USB display port, otherwise they are the same. I also use several Dell 24in 4K for Win10 and macOS, they are perfect too (unfortunately no longer available), but the colors of the S2721QS/P2721Q seem better to me.

Not sure about console gaming with 16:10 vx 16:9. Maybe search Reddit to see what others say.
No, you can't. There are 16:10 - 5:4 - 4:3 options only.
i set it up with 16:9 on 3 displays and it works fine, symmetrical black bars on top and bottom

I did not test that, but chances are only 1 monitor can be the USB hub.

Definitely go for 1440P if you can. That's the most worth the money resolution currently.

It won't damage the battery because computers have software to optimise battery charging.
