The Mystery Of Jay Electronica: Unreleased Documentary, Signing w/ Jay-Z Over Diddy, Rothschilds

Jason Goldwatch talks about releasing Jay Electronica's acclaimed "Exhibit C" and "Exhibit A" singles through his record label, Decon. This came at the height of Jay's buzz and mystery, seemingly coming out of nowhere to become one of hip-hop's top prospects. Goldwatch planned to travel with Jay to India but their plans got hijacked (literally). They ended up shooting a documentary in Nepal that never came out. The buzz resulted in Jay signing with Jay-Z, which didn't go over well with Diddy. But years later, neither Jay's original debut album nor Goldwatch's documentary were ever released. Instead, Jay resurfaced to make headlines with the Rothschild family and then seemed to disappear again.
