What I have learned about my thick hair is that u need to put it in a pony tail first and then attempt something like this with an oversized clip. It works the best if u put ur hair in a ponytail because it’s already somewhat secured.
my hair is too long..nothing worked but I just got an idea: braid your hair and then do it up and clip your braid. I did this and used a hairtie to tie it 'shorter' and it works!

Here’s my issue. My hair is so thick that when I do these hairstyles, my claw clip (an oversized one) can’t close around all of it and just falls off
