I was born 17/81960 check that date and my name and my father was born in Berlin. I first saw the bridge on a visit to Berlin in 1975 and we visited East Berlin, I was well aware of Gary powers when he passed due to my interest in Cold War politics but it wasn’t until the movie that I learnt all the details. I walked the bridge January 2019 the whole Cold War history is fascinating but you have to know your ww1 and 2 history and even 19 century history to understand how everything came about. Love the movie and I’ve watched it so many times on cable .As a side note I love the movie 123 ,regards to all involved Gary

I believe the movie played up the 'ordinary man' aspect because the directors wanted to inspire a future generation of people who might not otherwise see themselves as possible candidates to be like James Donovan. The movie has a greater appeal when the protagonist is relatable... This is my favorite channel on UA-cam. Speaking of appeal, I think this channel might have greater fan base if it were to be renamed to 'Spy Stories' or something more clickable. Definitely worth mentioning the content is brought by the INTL Spy Museum, but perhaps that info is better suited to the description. I'd also put some color in the thumbnail -- spy's lives are anything but black and white.

Very enjoyable! Thanks for bringing a very personal dimension to the characters portrayed in the amazing film, Bridge of Spies. Since watching The Americans, the subject of spies has become very interesting to me.

lol what do you mean? Do you mean she's dropping names to make herself/her dad seem high society or elites?

If it wasn’t for the stench of politicians I would love to visit such a fine museum. Maybe when Bitten leaves.

Once again terrible lighting distracts from informative series. You need to get professional. Obvious space limitations are no excuse. You need a lighting designer on your staff.

Well I got an idea.. use one hand to keep your mouth shut from complaining about something else for a second...And use the other hand to grab your Pokémon wallet so you can pay for this full professional staff you want him to get so each vid is up to your satisfaction. I mean seriously...That would be like you having done a landscape painting and my feedback is you need to grow up and act more professional and gosh damn you need to hire a professional for lessons because that pine tree obviously needs to be in the back of the scene.! But I wouldn’t do that because it’s your content/art that you done the best you could on and shred with me for my entertainment. Just like this guys video, not a professional production but if you don’t like it find another and don’t watch instead of criticizing him..

@@codyratliff8302 Joe's critique is technically correct, I suspect he could have edited himself a bit. These talks are very interesting, and might do well with better lighting. Why are Ted talks so well recieved?

LADIES FIRST!!! He is introducing the men before the women?? What kind of idiot does this? This is an unthinkable discourtesy! How dare he do this. It is unwatchable because of this sublime rudeness!
