You have great energy. Great aloha. I feel positive every time I watch your channel. It's rare to feel like you've known someone for years despite never meeting. Keep up the great cony. 🤙

@@bustabeatgeorgeI just watched this video again with my wife. We are going to start overlanding next summer. We're in Minnesota so Winter is fast approaching. I'm ordering a new land cruiser and looking for a rooftop tent. I will definitely look at roveroll. Where are you camping in CA. I want to take the family there next summer. So beautiful.

🤷‍♂️ i didn't know you could put the seats down like that in the 4th gen. Thought the back rest was fixed in the upright position

All the home on wheels campers are obviously very nice. But a lot of the fun in camping is the experience of setting up a tent and your immediate area around you with lights, fire, etc. Those fancy campers steal some of that original camping experience. I think a rtt is a happy medium between the two.

@@stop153rz2 I agree. Same goes for a ground tent. I truly enjoy the setup process. Thank you for watching!

Great video and reminder that you don’t need a lot to enjoy the outdoors. Thank you for sharing a quality brand at an affordable cost. Stay safe George.

I finally moved on from my soft shell RTT after 4 years. The set-up and take down of a soft shell RTT in bad weather is a pain and everything gets wet. Clam shell RTT (hard tops) are better for set-up and take down, but the clam shells can be 3 to 4 times the cost of a soft shell RTT…and (in my opinion) are all way overpriced. I find the mattresses in the soft shell RTT to be much more comfortable than the clam shell (hard top) RTT. Soft shell RTT are great for beginner campers who camp in the same location for a quick weekend in good weather. They are light, affordable, and comfortable. If you camp for extended periods of time (a week or more) and/or you are moving locations or going to town all the time… you will immediately hate your soft shell RTT. Without a heater…these soft shell RTT are comfortable down to about 50 degrees…it really doesn’t matter how good your blankets or sleeping bags are. Breathing in cold air all night isn’t fun. Soft shell RTT are better in warm climates…just park in the shade. Clam Shell RTT tend to have better insulation, but again..without a heater…once the temperatures drop outside….you get condensation and you are breathing in cold air all night. The downside of all RTT is that it limits your exterior rooftop storage options. If you have kayaks or a canoe, forget the RTT….just get a comfortable ground tent….which is what I am using now.

@@alexorcas1 thanks for watching brotha! I’ll definitely try and switch it up on the next one.
All the music on this channel is made by me. Whether it’s a piano tune, beat, or background chords. This is why the same tracks are used for multiple videos. This avoid any copyright claims or issues when uploading a video.
